Roll GmbH is a leading special ist in the manufacture of machines and toolsfor the preparation of subsurface and thus offers its partners a ful l range oftools for instal lation and handling of spackle, screed, parquet, l inoleum, PVCand carpet. Furthermore a large assortment of different flooring profi les isoffered for a wide range of applications.

Roll GmbH also is the Roll family and their dedicated team which works withpassion for the flooring technology for more than 30 years. Since thecompany was founded by Dieter and Rosemarie Roll , mile stones were set inthe flooring industry e.g. the Bullystripper (1 980) or the use of hard metalcomponents for the preparation of subsurface in the form of the patentedRoll-Rotorscraper (1 983).

The Roll-Stripper-FamilyThe story around the Roll-Stripper goes on. In 201 3 the ROLL-STRIPPER(RO-1 ) was presented at the BAU in Munich for the first time. The ROLL-STRIPPER (RO-1 ) is an innovative floor scraper, which was developed forthe removal of al l extremely bonded floor coverings. Very compact and yetvery powerful the ROLL-STRIPPER closes the gap between the self-propelled floor removal machines and the large and heavy Ride-on floorscrapers.

Based on this technology a further model, the Roll-Stripper RO-2 wasdeveloped, first presented at the BAU 201 5. With this machine, the RollGmbH offers a complete stripper family!

A look into the futureAt the Domotex 201 6, the new floor grinding machine RO-300 was introduced(page 1 2), which strengthened the company's position in the field ofequipment for the renovation and surface preparation.In the range of flooring profi les new system profi les (from page 81 ) for lvtfloor coverings and parquet were presented. In this catalogue you can find acompetitive overal l range for the flooring professional!

However, a key foundation for the future was in 201 5, the construction of thenew warehouse. With a higher storage capacity and above all through thedevelopment of the assembly l ine the ROLL brand can continue to grow.

When screwing stair nosings together with tapes, the screwheads have to be laid flush with the profi le as supernatantsmay later cause unsightly marks or even cause damage to thetape.Note: Pay close attention to the proper laying temperature(approx. 20°C) in order to avoid shrinkage of the tape.Furthermore profi le and tape should have the same layingtemperature.Comment: Before instal l ing self-adhesive inserts, werecommend cleaning the profi le e.g. with delution. The profi lemust be clean and free of grease.Don't lay the insert tape under tension. After laying, press theinsert tape firmly with a rubber rol ler on to the profi le.
