Q104.3, New York’s Only Classic Rock Station, is excited to present the Q104.3 Rock

Marathon 2004!

This 104 hour-straight broadcast and rock-auction, once again hosted for 104 hours by Q104.3 mid-day

personality Bob Buchmann, will originate from the Q104.3 broadcast center studios in midtown Manhattan to raise

money for various Tri-State area charities, through “Charity Begins at Home”.

Charity Begins at Home was originally founded by Billy Joel. This charity helps raise money for numerous

local charities within the Tri-State area. Short list of charities that benefited: Friends of Karen, LI Special

Olympics, Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, and much more!

In 2003, the Rock Marathon generated over $470,000 in pledges for “Charity Begins at Home”. This money was then divided

amongst the individual tri-state charities. With your help, Q104.3 is looking to drastically increase this number in 2004!

We need people to answer our pledge phones! Over 100 people a day are needed to raise the money that will help our

organizations! If you have some time on your hands to help us out, email Judy Dillon at [email protected].

Below is the schedule for phone shifts. Please indicate which shift is most convenient for you, then send Judy an email. She will send you a confirmation and answer any questions you may

have.
