foods. Sunday School gift exchanges will also take place on this day.

Active Dates: Sunday, November 24th to Sunday, December 22nd RSBC will again offer the system for giving and receiving Christmas cards at the church. This self-service

System is on a table set up in the back upstairs hall between the restrooms. This table has file boxes with alphabetized files for each family Who ATTENDS REGULARLY. When you have yours cards ready, you can bring at your convenience (within the time frame allowed) and file them in each family’s file. Please pick up your family’s cards (leaving the folder in file box) regularly during the designated time frame. The more often you pick up your cards, the more time you can enjoy at your home as well as free up space for others to be filled.

You are only responsible for filing the cards you are giving to others and picking up your family’s cards from the file folder with your family’s names. Participation in this card exchange system is not mandatory, but optional, and for your convenience.

TIME FRAM SYSTEM IN EFFECT: Sunday, November 24 until Sunday, December 22. The last day for emptying your file folder is Sunday, December 29, 2019. The file system will be taken away after that date and stored until next year’s use.

CHRISTMAS CARE CARDS DEADLINE: Wednesday, December 4th is the deadline to accommodate caroling and delivery of these cards on Sunday, December 8th. Christmas Care files will be found in the front of the “A” section and will be alphabetized and distinguished by colored file folders. You will be able to find the Christmas Care list in the November newsletter.

NOTE TO SENIOR ADULTS OVER AGE 65: If you prefer, I will do card filing for you. You may leave in the basket provided for this on or near the card exchange area. Please alphabetize your cards if possible. If not, no worries.

MEMBERS NOT ATTENDING OR WHO LIVE OUT OF TOWN/STATE: Please send these via USPS mail.

OTHER THINGS TO REMEMBER:

When taking your own cards home, check to be sure someone else’s card has not been mistakenly put in your

file. If happens, please file if correctly or leave on file table so it can be filed correctly.

If there are visitors who attend somewhat regularly that we are not totally acquainted with yet, feel free to

hand deliver cards to them on Sundays to make them welcome and wish them Christmas blessings.

This system is available not only for Christmas cards but can be utilized for thank you notes, encouraging

notes, etc. during the holiday season.

If you have cards to “send” and are still unfamiliar with the filing system and wish for help. Please let me

know. I am happy to help. You may also contact me for names of new congregation member during the

past year if you need those names.

Logan Lanyon was selected to lay the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery while in Washington D.C. on a school trip.

He’s also been selected to perform in Midfest at UGA in December which is

for middle school band students.
