Roche de Boeuf is the French translation which means “ rock of Beef or Buffalo Rock” commemorating the rock which is still present in the Maumee River area of Waterville at the old Electric Railway Bridge.

The 2013 RDB Queen is Jane Ashenfelter Jane who is 88 years young has been crowned the 2013 RDB Waterville Queen. Jane was born and raised in Water-ville. She was born with her twin, June, in the house that is now The Wellness Center Day Spa & Salon. Jane has shared so much info on the house which is over 100 years old. The house was built by her father, Charles Metzger. Jane would be happy to share her memories.
Erin Snyder is the 2013 Miss Waterville
A Junior at AWHS, Erin has been in Scholastic Honors, musical theater, rowing and enjoys traveling with her family. Erin volun-teers at the Waterville Library and has competed at the International Model & Talent Convention receiving a scholarship to attend N.Y. Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in the 2014 summer program. At present Erin is focusing on her academics and preparing for college.
