Robert Dale Webb, son of Roy Owen (1899-1961) and Helen (Boss) (1905-1998) Webb, was born 7 March 1930, Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. Dr. Roy Webb was a medical doctor who served in the US Army during both World War I and World War II. The Webb family moved to the Okemos area in about 1937.

Robert graduated from Okemos High School in 1947.

Bob was an active student at Okemos participating in most sports and student government.

Robert furthered his education at Michigan State College. In June 1953 he received a master's degree in agricultural engineering. In 1953 Robert wed Louise Ann Schmaltz (1932-2003) but the marriage ended in a divorce. He then married Betty, had two children and had a successful marriage and business career. Robert died 13 January 2019, Franklin County, Ohio.

He was born on March 7, 1930 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late Roy and Helen (Boss) Webb. Bob was a Michigan State graduate and lifelong fan. He was involved in his church, enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with his grandkids. Bob served farmers throughout the state during his lifelong career with his business, The Columbus Irrigation Company. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and 2 brothers. He will be greatly missed by his children, Bob Jr. and Bethanne (Tim) Grant; grandchildren, Garrett, Alicia and Brandon; and loving friend, Dorothy Henning. Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221.
