In preparation for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Social Sciences and Humanities Department, Faculty of Liberal Arts hosted a training which aimed to give academic personnels, professors, students of Rajamangala Universities of Technology a strong understanding and develop greater knowledge of the ASEAN Economic Community which will come into effect in 2 0 1 5 . The training was held in 3 campuses: for Wasukri Campus on July 1 1 -1 2 , 2 0 1 3 , for Nonthaburi Campus on July 25 – 26 2013 and for Huntra Campus on August 5-6, 2013.

Faculty of Liberal Arts hosted the training of “Vietnamese language and culture” for academic personnels, professors, students and alumni during December 1 4 , 2013 - Jan 11 , 2014 (only on Saturday) at building 22 , Chompoopantip Room, Rajamangala Universities of Technology, Huntra Campus.

The student representativs of Civil Engineering fields from Suphanburi and Nontaburi campuses participated in the “14th Palang Chang Concrete Competition” during Aug 29-30, 2013 at Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. They participated in two categories. In Nature Conservancy-Strength concrete competition, Nontaburi campus and Suphanburi campus ranked the 4th and the 14th place respectively from all 46 groups of competitors. For “High-Strength concrete” competition, Suphanburi campus and Nontaburi campus ranked the 3rd and the 7th respectively from all 44 groups of competitors. Research and Development Institute hosted the “2014 Yearly Researcher Potential Development” workshop. It was participated by academic personnels, professors and Graduate students. The primary purposes were to develop research-academic personal potential, to encourage and promote the raising researchers and yet to encourage all researchers to do the research projects that meet university's strategic directions providing to 2 curriculums which were academic research proposal writing to a research fund on December 11th, 2013 and statistical analysis by SPSS software on December 18th, 2013 at the Academic Resources and Information Technology building at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Huntra campus.

Assistant Professor Paisal Burinwatthana, the presi-dent, presided over the committee meeting of 9 Rajamangala Uni-versities of Technology on the 6th RMUTNC and the 5th RMU-TIC preparation which was held by the Research and Devel-opment Institute on November 14, 2013 at Prapirun meeting room, 2nd floor of the Information and Technology building, Huntra Campus. The discussion was on the details of the event such as period of time, place, budget, contribution fund and

exhibition organizing. Moreover, Research and Development Institute led all the attendants to survey the exhibition-organizing area. The 6th RMUTNC and the 5th RMUTIC will be held on July 23-25, 2014 at Rajamangala Universities of Technology, Huntra Campus.

Mr.Kittipong Treepech, a lecturer from Telecommunication Engineering fields in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, gave a presentation on "Comparative Analysis of Tuning Range of Regulated Cascode Cross Coupled CMOS Oscillators" in the WCE2013: The 2013 International Conference of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on July 3-5, 2013 in London City, United Kingdom.

Miss Pacharanan Sritanautaikor, a lecturer in Electrical Engineering fields Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, gave a presentation on "Image Fusion at Pixel Level of Terminal and Optical Images for Motion Detection” in the 3rd IFTOMM International Symposium on Robotics and Mechatronics (ISRM 2013)

2nd International Conference on Power Science and Engineering (ICPSE 2013)

Assoc. Prof Napat Watjanatepin participated in 2nd International Conference on Power Science and Engineering (ICPSE 2013). It was held on December 20-21, 2013, Paris, France, organized by IACSIT. He also presented the research paper on “Development of the Low Cost Harmonic and Power Instrument by Using Fourier series Method with Microcontroller”. That paper was published in the academic journal “Applied Mechanics

The Second International Conference on Integrate Science and Technology 2013

On 27 November, 2013, the international participants of “The Second International Conference on Integrate Science and Technology 2013” organized by KMUTL visited the Faculty of Agricultural and Agro Industry , RMUTSB and the other famous agricultural farms in Ayutthaya province as part of the conference program. Assistant Prof. Thitima Jinowatana, dean of the faculty, and Assistant Prof. Tosporn Namhong, Deputy dean in Academic and Research Affairs, welcomed and presented the faculty activities to all the guests.

Meanwhile, Assistant Prof. Chatpong Sukuea, head of Fishery Science Department, also presented the frog culturing at the department. All the guests were pleased with the visit and sought for the coloraboration between the university in the near future.

The Halu Oleo University in the cooperation with the Council of Rector of Indonesia State University (CRISU) and the Council of the University President of Thailand (CUPT) has organized the 8 th International Conference (8th CRISU-CUPT Conference in Kendari) in Kendari, Indonesia, on October 17-19, 2013. 8th CRISU-CUPT Conference

Mobile Service of Phra Dabos Foundation Phra Dabos Foundation and RMUTSB provided their 91th service to people on Dec 22, 2013 at Bang Decha Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Amphoe Mueang, Prachin Buri. The activities included agricultural machinery maintenance, free hairdressing service and donating 5 wheelchairs produced by Industrial Education Department. This mobile service was presided over by Admiral Chumpol Pajjusanon, the Privy Councilor and the Committee of TAPASA (Phra Dabos) Foundation. Furthermore, 200 royally-sponsored survival bags and 100Yangna seedlings were distributed to the local villagers .

Message from the President

President, Dean and academic personnels of Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi gave a visit and signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Build Bright University, Siem Reap, the Kingdom of Cambodia on May 25- 27, 2013 accompanied by school principals and teachers of Wichian Klinsukon Uppatum, PhachiSoonthornwitthayanukul School and Ayutthayanusorn School. The university personnels also visited Angkor University and Meanchey University with the purpose of discussing cooperation possibilities. For 3 schools personals visited “10 January 1979 High School”, SIem Reap and discussed on cooperation possibilities as well.
