1. The total ridership for the R-line in calendar year 2015 was : 197,499

2. The Operating Costs for the GoRaleigh bus operations are allocated to the individualroutes based upon the amount of budgeted operating hours for each particular route.

The R-Line had a budgeted 12,392 service hours. Total cost allocated to the route was$936,347. The cost works out to $4.74 per rider.

3. The funds are part of the Public Works – Transit budget. Revenues may be found in the

City budget under the Enterprise Operating Funds under Public Transit Fund.

4.  The funds are a mixture of federal, State, and local funds.

5.  Yes, you are correct there is currently no charge for riding the R-line.
