there is some information later

plains how to express your inter-
est.
Reports and Parent/Teacher
Interviews
Student half yearly reports will be
sent home on Thurs 5 July. This
will be followed by parent/teacher
interviews that will be conducted
in week 2 of term 3. This year
we will be moving to an online
booking system for interviews.
We will be providing parents with
details of
how to
book
teacher
interviews
shortly.
Space Camp Raffle
As you would be aware, 10
students from Richmond North
will be travelling to Space Camp
in the USA in October this year.
These students are currently
conducting a raffle to raise funds
for this trip. The raffle prize is a
family holiday to Fiji valued at
$4760. If you would like to help
us by selling a book of tickets
(20 tickets @ $3 ea) then please
contact the school office and we
can arrange to send a book of
tickets home. Individual raffle
tickets will also be available for
purchase at the school office if
you wish
to support
our Space
Camp
group. We
would
certainly appreciate any support
that may be offered.
New newsletter format—
Tm 2
In term 2, our school will be
launching a new format newslet-
ter which will be produced by
Schoolzine. This new newslet-
ter will be truly interactive and
will be delivered via a new app
called Szapp. Our new newslet-
ter will incorporate online fea-
tures including photo galleries,
live links, dynamic calendar of
events, online surveys and the
ability to respond electronically,
I think parents will find this new
format more engaging and will
better communicate events at
school. If you know of someone
who may be interested in adver-
tising in our new newsletter,

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ivy Racker and I am wanting to donate to the homeless people because its
nice for them so they can keep warm this winter. I would appreciate if anyone could
help me by donating new scarves, new gloves, new socks, new beanies or small torches
with batteries. I will be giving these to Hawkesbury Helping Hands to give to the
homeless people. Any donation no matter how small can be left at the school office
for me to pick up.
If you could help that would be so great,
Thank you,
Ivy Racker 1/2M

A FEW NOTES FROM THE LOLLIPOP MAN
Firstly, I am here to ensure the safety of everyone - children, parents, grand-parents, guardians, teachers.
Now, for a few simple rules. If these are followed, all of us will go home to our love ones everyday.
1. If I ask you to wait on the far side of the road, please be patient as there may be more pupils/
parents about to arrive or there is heavy traffic.
2. Please wait until I place the Stop Bat on the ground and I motion for you to cross the road.
3. During inclement weather, I will endeavour to get you across as soon as possible keeping in mind
the traffic.
4. Please refrain from using your mobile/head phones whilst crossing. For 10 seconds of your atten-
tion, this would erase the possibility of a person being injured, I have lost too many good people on
my watch during 35 years in the military, Could not bear that again.
As I do not bite and I don’t think I’m an ogre you may introduce yourself and your child/children.
Thankyou for your time and respect.
Your friendly lollipop man.
