Hi Everyone!
We at RIVTA hope you are all having a safe and good
winter, although, the weather has been VERY challenging for many lately,
just remember spring is right around the corner! Speaking of spring, that
also means the RIVTA Symposium is coming up too! Check out our flyer in
this edition, we have really awesome topics this year! We will also have a
raffle which we have every year, this year the proceeds will be donated to a
charity yet to be determined.
Alexander’s Uniforms will also be on hand once again and what is even
better is this year to all members who renewed their memberships and
certifications by December 31st, we are offering a special treat to you—
Symposium will cost $50 and when you check in the morning of the
symposium, we will give you a gift card of your choice worth $25! You are
getting 6 CE credits for $25!! What is better than that?! (Free I know but
unfortunately, not possible.) The three choices for gift cards will be
Alexander’s Uniforms (which you can use right on the spot!), Daves Market
and Rumford Pet Center. We hope to see many of you there!! Please feel
free to contact us with any questions at [email protected] or on our Facebook
page.
We also included our 2013 financial standings in this edition. Please feel
free to ask us any questions you may have on it. Since we discovered
missing funds last year, we are not going to make a budget until the end of
the year for next year because we need to see what we actually do pull in
from symposium and membership, etc. We also need to truly see what
expenses we have throughout the year. Cat Holly, President
