We have been working with families since 1994.
We are CARF accredited.
We pride ourselves on providing quality, individualized services designed around the people we support and their families.
We contract in Oakland County with MRS, MORC and CLS and in Livingston County with MRS and LCCMH.

How does one access our services?
CLS
Excel assists people with the essential services necessary
to continue living in the family home, or to maintain their
own private residence in the community.
We currently staff 10 homes in Livingston County
CLS
Excel supports residents and their families in developing the necessary skills to maintain independence in the
home. Services include:
• Increasing skills of daily living• Maintaining and enhancing dignity and self-respect• Communication and self-advocacy • Making healthy choices• Making new friends and connecting with community
supports• Monitoring medications• Managing finances• Maintaining a safe, clean and secure home

Non-Vocational Services
Social and Community Skills TrainingCommunity activities designed to teach social skills,
community safety, survival skills, and other skills selected by the individual that support their personal
goals.

Career Course
Excel Employment Options presents an 8 week summer course focused on developing each student’s individual vocational skills.
This course will include volunteer and job shadowing opportunities based on student interest.
Course curriculum teaching soft skills, vocational skill building and personal marketing skills has been tested and proven by Excel’s team through our work with Oakland County schools, MRS and MORC.
