----------------------------------------------------collaborated and inspired by young indie artists in seoul, pB-01 is a next generation electronic sampler which experiments with the sound in different mediums. the instrument elaborates with taking the analogue characters of existing instruments and transcending the digital performance. the sound is taken into the horn unit and string unit instead of buttons. the user can sample the sound and play with them in different ways where the creativity allows. pablo’s heart was inspired by the form of the ak-16 gun that was a symbolic figure as a tool for destruction, the idea was to shift it to the idea of creation.

----------------------------------------------------the final product incorporates the ergonomic needs of the user blended inside the flowing form itself. inspired by a stream of water, the essense of the toothbrush is focused on the natural yet comfortable shapes as the liquid.

----------------------------------------------------the record player uses a carrier and dock outfitted with a magnetic and auto-calibrating control system which carries the lp into thin air as it is playing music. a self-running record player shaped in the form of a red sphere, contains a needle, amplifier and speaker, spins around the record, bringing the music to life. the sphere that plays the vinyl was technically influenced by the ‘vinyl killer’, currently the world’s smallest lp player that has a built-in motor, amplifier and speaker. simple colors and shapes express a kind of astronomical movement between the object and space. the levitation is managed electronically. once turning the player on, you can manage the elevation levels through the touch sensors on the front side of the base unit.

----------------------------------------------------squeeze, open. squeezing one side enflates the other side which enables the tube to lift up the pages of the book - making the user open the book more easily. one side of the tube is adhesive, just like post-its.the graphic of the bookmark has ironic meanings and can be varied in different ways. abracadabra uses recycled pVc and suggests a collectable package for sustainability. patent processed on January 2009.contact for details on purchasing

Visually impaired children are able to self-educate themselves about different parts of nature with this learning aid. they will be properly stimulated about diverse characters of nature as well as fulfilling their curiosity through their first-hand tactile knowledge.

----------------------------------------------------Based on consumer research and market analysis we focused on the followingtopic: what will be the next version for the touch screen? could we experience3d qualities inside the 2d display system?the selected concept was to bring three touchscreens together :front, side, bottom. twisting the shape of the rectangle slightly enables the 3 screens to be seen and touch-controlled from the front and side making a geometric form.three sides twisted from the base of a rectangle elaborate on the different usage of the touchscreen surface. given the same surface amount, ‘3+’ tried to strech its limits to the maximum variety and still keeping the simplicity. geometry of the mobile phone in different viewpoints sometimes shows the mass as a thin surface, or a lined screen where your text message marquees. the twisted shape enables us to swift and use the other sides in different applications and functions inside the interface. packaging design for 3+ was made with semi-transparent plastic. graphic on the packaging makes an optical illusion of the identity of the geometry.

----------------------------------------------------colorsonic mp3 player is a system relating to color combination playlists that connect music and emotional links.colorsonic mp3 player is based on a full touch screen system on the top screen as well as the inner rim of the donut shaped product allows the user to control the music player without looking at the screen. Music is taken into mp3 device through the software, which converts them into associations with the colors chosen by the user. the colors are tagged with particular emotional states that the user understands and feels through that color. the color that the user selected to appear in the mp3 device then becomes a playlist of color combinations.

----------------------------------------------------a dock speaker for the first generation of ‘ipod shuffle’. it functions through the experience of a tumbler toy (self-righting toy). such actions as pushing, pulling or spinning it in diverse directions will control the volume, play or pause the tracks. By incorporating the tumbler toy inside the speaker it expands the usability to a more intuitive and unique method. Melody drop started as an intuition as an image with the form of water dropping- overlapping image came to me as a form of a note in music.

----------------------------------------------------an experience beyond gravity, coming together as a slowed down tempo of surreal second space. once entering the space, the surreal environment captures sight as if time had warped in the space beyond. the outside landscape is projected on the facade of the walls in a slow tempo, bringing moments of pure tranquility - where everything seemed to stop trying to speed. the environment breathes when the clothes levitate to mid-air, its form flowing against light wind. the aim for the experience is to be in the surreal momentum of the slow tempted world, beyond the limits of gravity.a unit below uses current levitation (electric powered magnets) technology to make the second unit float in mid-air while carrying the clothing. the unit also blows air from underneath for dramatic movement that show the flowing form of clothes.
