Home Energy Savings Workshop

Join us at the River Grove Public Library on Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 for a free workshop on home energy savings. Local advisors, Skyler Larrimore (Elevate Energy) and Yami Newell Goldberg (Citizens Utility Board), will talk about resources you can use to make your home more comfortable, keep gas and electric bills in check, and increase home value.

Are you curious about the rollout of Smart Meters for homes in River Grove? We will highlight how you can use this technology to lower energy costs. Bring along your utility bill, there will be time for questions and answers following the program.

This adult program is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Book Club

The Book Group pick for September is The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton. Join us for a lively discussion over cookies and tea on Monday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the book are available for pick-up at the library. Please register in person or by phone (708-453-4484). Drop-ins are also welcome.
