PROJECTO DE ENERGIA SOLAR INTEGRADA EM REVESTIMENTOS

O quadro actual de crise nos recursos energticos exige novas solues.

nesta conjuntura que emerge um projecto inovador a nvel mundial, em

desenvolvimento por um consrcio de9entidades, do qual a Revigrs

entidade promotora.

O projecto, em curso, consiste no desenvolvimento de produtos

cermicos fotovoltaicos integrados para o revestimento exterior e

cobertura de edifcios, com a mesma finalidade dos tradicionais painis

INTEGRATED SOLAR ENERGY PROJECT IN WALL TILES

The current backdrop of the crisis in energy resources requires new

solutions. It is in this economic climate that an innovative project has

emerged worldwide which is being developed by a consortium with 9

entities in which evigrs is the promoter.

The project now underway consists of te development of integrated

photovoltaic ceramic product prototypes for the exterior tiling and

roofing of buildings, having the same purpose as traditional solar panels:

to use solar energy to produce electricity.

The result is a multifunctional product which is useful in several ways:

Em ambientes urbanos, os edifcios e construes formam uma vastasuperfcie de contacto com os poluentes atmosfricos, existindo maioresproblemas de sujidade e deteriorao. O revestimento autolimpanteapresenta maior resistncia s agresses atmosfricas e aos efeitos dapoluio.

O produto tem uma aplicao de xido de titnio que, em contacto coma luz solar, degrada os poluentes gasosos, nomeadamente, os xidos deazoto (NOx) e compostos orgnicos volteis (COVs), transformando-osem componentes incuos, que contribuem para a melhoria da qualidadedo ar.

Tem tambm propriedades autolimpantes, sempre que a superfcie molhada, pela eliminao dos componentes degradados, retardando aacumulao de resduos superficiais e mantendo o aspecto original dorevestimento.

Urban architectural heritage provides an extensive surface of contactbetween construction materials and atmospheric pollutants; suchagents create greater problems related to dirt and deterioration. TheSelf Cleaning Tiles have greater resistance to atmospheric intrusions andpollution effects.

It is a ceramic product to which titanium oxide has been applied andwhich breaks down gaseous pollutants when it comes into contact withsunlight, namely nitrogen oxides (NOx) and volatile organic compounds(VOC), transforming them into innocuous components, helping toimprove the environment and air quality.

This product also has self-cleaning properties whenever the materialis wet, forming a water film that eliminates dirt (along with brokendown components), delaying the accumulation of surface residues andmaintaining the original appearance of the tiles.
