THOUGHTS FROM THE PASTOR…We read in the Letter to the Hebrews "Brothers and sisters: When Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; in holo-causts and sin offerings you took no delight. Then I said, 'As is written of me in the scroll, behold, I come to do your will, 0 God." As we enter into the last week of Advent, we must ask what gift do I give to the Lord, I hope it is a spirit willing to do His will.
Merry Christmas. Yes, Saturday is the day of rejoicing - Jesus is BORN. We give thanks to God for such a great act of LOVE. What joy we have at the birth of Our God and King. MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!!

PRAY FOR PEACE: The shootings and the violence continue. Hate and anger continue to grow. It can only be stopped by love and prayer. When will we learn that We are children of God.!! There is far more that con-nects us than separate us. We must be people of love. We need the violence to come to an end. To this point I invite you to join me every Friday to take some time and pray for peace. It does not have to be long whatev-er time you may have let us spend it in prayer for peace. You do not have to be in church, although the church is always available to you, prayer can happen anywhere you are. Let us just do this and use this great tool that the Lord has given us and make our world a place of love and peace. PRAY FOR PEACE Los tiroteos y la violencia con-tinúan.
