Planned Maintenance
The objective of maintenance is to maximize the performance of the vessels by ensuring that each machinery functions regularly and efficiently, by attempting to prevent breakdowns or failures thus minimizing the recurring losses.
Retrained is a complete maintenance management software designed to improve the effectiveness and streamline the vessel maintenance. It gives vessel managers the tools necessary to monitor and control every variable that affects vessel performance and thus improves operational and organizational control along with the uptime of your fleet.
With RetroNet, users, both on-board and office have all the information that they require to perform the maintenance thereby increasing the operational efficiency of their vessel. It is designed to provide both time/ counter based schedule for planned maintenance activities along with resource allocation as well as an archived maintenance history.
The software is equipped with an easy to use planning board which further simplifies tasks like reporting document attachments, spare consumption, PMS forms when closing the jobs, predictive due dates based on your history or future projections provided, to perform tasks along with managing deferred and postponed tasks.

Vessel Defect Reporting
RetroNet provides an easy to report tool for reporting the defect, breakdowns or preventive actions in the system. The system, describes, all the important information and can requests an office for specification of actions to be taken. The
system allows to attach relevant document categorized with its specification.
Spare consumption can be reported if consumed during this repair. Automated approval levels defined in the system are assigned to each defect report in order to carry our maintenance repair work. An assembly replacement is well taken care with rescheduling all planned maintenance
and maintaining all the old history of the removed assembly.
E-Documents
RetroNet, the comprehensive ship management suite also manages your documentation woes. It allows you to attach references to each of your component entry. Safety documents, permits, work instruction manuals, or even self-made notes – any type of relevant document can be added to the system to avoid missing out any micro details. The software comes integrated with a PDF tool which allows the user to effectively add and manage PDF forms in the system.
During transfer of information between the vessel and the office, only the entered data in these PDF forms would be transferred. The provision of reference material being available in form of an e-document not only eases out the work and saves time, but also
converts it into a one-point reference for all the important documents.
Consumption Monitoring
RetroNet contains adequate tools to collect information and track the consumption of variables like fuel, lubes, gasses, chemicals, fresh water, etc. in the vessel. The software monitors the normal consumption by various equipments of the vessel and thereby allows the user to spot any un-natural increase of consumption that may convert into a potential problem.
This allows the user better control over the vessel and facilitates a predictive performance from their fleet.
Survey & Certificates
RetroNet also handles ship inspections and surveys as well as the issuance of certificates. The various survey types, their intervals and windows of time are presented along with contents and validity of the
required certificates
Procurement
RetroNet as a complete system handles end to end procurement starting from requisition to delivery for Spares, consumables & store items.
