I have moved up the ladder, from Management Trainee to AGM in a short span of 7 years, without having to switch companies. Lead and manage a team of 5 managers in the vertical, to drive the mobile internet penetration and revenue, for prepaid as well as post-paid segment, across 2G, 3G and 4G technology platforms. Drive the newly launched 4G LTE business to ensure profitability and revenue growth. Design innovative products based on consumer insights. Manage an entire portfolio of open market as well as segmented products. Customer Life Cycle Management (CLM) right from strategies for new mobile internet user acquisition to enhancing usage and ARPU of existing users through U&R initiatives. Work seamlessly with sales & service delivery teams to drive business KPIs & also enhance customer and channel satisfaction. Design incentive schemes for trade for better channel engagement. Ensure ROI of all such schemes. Work with brand team to plan and launch circle specific BTL and ATL campaigns for mobile internet. Ensure achievement of - mobile internet subscribers, traffic and revenue budget for the company. During last 1.5 years as vertical head for mobile internet business in AP&T Circle, I along with my team have ensured that we are the fastest growing circle in terms of revenue & user penetration. Responsible to drive Usage, Revenue and Retention for Circle Prepaid Base, with effective customer life- cycle management and co-ordination with cross functional teams. Manage existing Prepaid Product portfolio and roll out new products and processes to increase MOU and Revenue from prepaid subscriber base of over 15 Mn. Work with technical team (Intelligent Network & Switch) on new and innovative product ideas and convert ideas from concept to launch. Drive sales team for focus on new products and special voucher penetration. Ensure achievement of Subscriber, Revenue and RMS budget for the company. During my 5 year stint in the prepaid voice business, we have ensured launch of many 1st in the industry products and processes, which were replicated across idea circles, as well as by competition. This has helped Idea Cellular gain significant RMS and Brand Value.

Winner of the prestigious Chairman’s Individual Awards 2012 from Mr. K.M. Birla, under Emerging Professionals Category. Winner of Quarterly Excellence Award for design and launch of innovative product ‘Magic Recharge’. This product is now replicated nationally and is helping Idea create differentiation and delight! Winner of Quarterly Excellence Award for design and launch of innovative product ‘Talktime Loan’. This product is also replicated nationally, and across other non-voice verticals as well. Incremental revenue contribution from this innovation is over Rs.200 Mn per Month. Winner of another Quarterly Excellence Award & 5 Individual Excellence Awards for few other critical initiatives. Winner in National Yellow belt/GembaKaizen Contest for 3 consecutive years, the latest one being for the high impact project done on ZBIVR (Zero Balance IVR). Successful completion of 2 Six Sigma Black Belt Projects. With innovation and effective decision making, we have helped Idea cellular AP&T Circle gain over 6% Revenue Market Share in last 5 years inspite of hyper competition in market.
