TASTE OF WINE - a winery, gallery and restaurant

This building is intended to be a prospective project on the Chateau Ste Michelle site. My intention was to apply the beauty of wine bottles into the building design.

REPEATING FRAME - a collaboration of experimental film artist

Spaces are excavated from volumes that are created from repeating frame. Frames are fixed, howev-er the spaces are changing throughout the day. Just like the process of film making, combining steady frames together will create moving scenes.

CONNECTION - discovery park field lab

This is a design invention on water-bluff edge conditions fund at Discovery Park. The task was to design a field lab for Seattle high school science students that will be used year round for environmental study.

ADAPTIVE REUSE - bringing art into neighborhoods

Grids and squares have always been structured or shaped in artists and architects’ life. For artists, sometimes grids are their limita-tions and sometimes they are artists’ windows for new ideas. As Art Spaces, the design plays between standardized units and order, trying to show different possibilities that grid can bring and articulates the tension between freedom and order. Eventually, this grid system will grow into the city spaces as art pieces that can pass the concept of freedom and order to publics.
