Description

LoopIn is a Life-Cycle Concept based product made to provide a centrally accessible source of

information. LoopIn is Enterprise Portal created to enable better communication and a higher level of

knowledge sharing between people. Group-chat is a liferay-framework based portlet which possessing

the funtionailty of multi-user messaging. Group-chat uses a dedicated chat server, openfire, which

handles the chatrooms, its users and all its related details. Group-Chat is integrated with Loop-in

portal to enhance the funtionailty providing employees to message in groups and thus enabling

effective information transfer. Funtionalities such as archiving chats and inviting different users with

notifications are possible and well handled by openfire server.

rank and change their position as per ranking given by user. Admin also gets specific domain

information.
