Digital Wideband Communications Device Repairer in United States Marine Corps- May 2011 to September 2014

Using electronics theory, schematics, and test equipment, maintained and repaired various communications assets including the AN/TSC 154 (SMART-T), AN/TSC 186 (VSAT-L), AN/TSC 180 (VSAT-M, and the AN/TRC-170 in a fast paced, high stress work environment with limited to no supervision.

Utilizing test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators, troubleshot and repaired multiple communications components including classified and unclassified communications systems, satellite links, servers, routers, computers, and antennas.

Using schematics and measurements during troubleshooting, was able to locate faulty components on circuit cards and communications systems and fully repaired them.

Installed and verified repairs made to hardware and software of communications assets.

Afforded the opportunity to supervise a team of 15 electronics technicians in day to day maintenance operations.

Supervised the repair process and conducted quality control on repairs made by technicians.

Instituted a formalized tracking system for these repairs.
