Maintains knowledge of trauma database to include database structure programming requirements, reporting capabilities, coordinates system upgrades, maintains appropriate database back-up and downloads information to State appointed facility.

Coordinates and troubleshoots registry software problems; alerting users and supervisors to malfunction or upgrades.    Works in collaboration with the software vendor and system IT departments to develop specifications and enhancements such as integration with the electronic medical record systems and programs. and rapidly to department team. Addresses user application problems and needs in a timely fashion to minimize disruption to work flow. Makes recommendations for database modifications to ensure trauma database functionality and efficiency.

Data Reporting Coordination. Oversees the registry data in supporting the PIPS process as required by the American College of Surgeons. Developing, preparing and disseminating basic analysis for standardized and ad-hoc reports. Track and analyze data requests.  Develops and provides presentations to trauma committees, quality division and administration as requested and/or required. Develop and present Health system annual Trauma Reports to Quality Board as requested.

Oversees and ensures the trauma registry data supports research, performance improvement, clinical practice, educational offerings and injury prevention initiatives. Coordinates with other departments in the health system to exchange data as needed for facility and system quality needs.  

Orientation and training program for trauma registry. Responsible for the oversight of orientation and ongoing training to the Trauma registry and trauma software for all members of the trauma services team.  Develops, provides and documents training sessions as needed.

Coaches and mentors registry staff in relation to data and registry utilization providing concurrent, constructive feedback and reports to the trauma management any identified performance issues.

information in a timely and accurate manner. I Create, Manipulate, and Present various reports using TraumaBase I assist the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Patient Care Clinician with data

collection. I oversee autopsy report retrieval. I track loop closure and tracks correspondence with various agencies and facilities. I adhere to strict requirements in terms of quality assurance sent down from the State
