IntervIew wIth Mr Primož Hvala KamenščeK- head of ivan Rob pRiMaRy school

Interviewer: Was the job of a Head of school your only career choice or were there any other professions that you wanted to do when you were young?Mr Kamenšček: Well, as a small child I wanted to be a baker or a pilot. Then, when I was a bit older, I wanted to teach at a university, but I also wanted to be a doctor or an architect.

Interviewer: Is this your first position as a Head of school? Mr Kamenšček: No, it isn’t. I was also the Head of the Ljubljana Secondary School for Hairstyling.

Interviewer: Can you describe your normal day at work?Mr Kamenšček: Well, my working day is full of different activities. The first thing I always do when I come into my office is checking my e-mail. I do that very carefully, so I don’t miss a thing. Then I have different meetings (with teachers, other staff, parents, children...), I plan activities, I visit nursery schools, classrooms, I check the school canteen ...My working day normally starts at 8 am and it usually ends between 6 and 7 pm, but sometimes I also finish working at 2 am.

Interviewer: How do you feel in our school?Mr Kamenšček: I feel very well, I come to work with a lot of joy and with big expectations, because I learn something new every day.

Interviewer: How are you getting along (as you are quite new in our school) with other staff?Mr Kamenšček: Great, everybody is very nice.

Interviewer: Do you gossip a lot about us with the teachers?Mr Kamenšček: Hahaha, we don’t gossip, we only discuss different issues, really, we never gossip about our students.

Interviewer: What do you think about the pupils and about the teachers?Mr Kamenšček: The teachers are good and hard-working. The students are happy and funny. The working atmosphere is very calm.

Interviewer: Thank you very much.

Last summer I went to Makarska in Croatia. I went with my parents. We stayed in a camp in a tent. On the first day we went out to dinner. After dinner we went sleeping because we were tired. On the second day we woke early and we went to the beach. The sea was warm and we had fun. In the afternoon I met new friends.Ana was from Ljubljana, Tina was from Postojna. We swam together every day. On the third day we went to Neretva. We saw a lot of tangerine trees. We ate tangerine jam. For another six days we stayed at the camp. With my friends we swam, snorkelled and went canoeing. Every evening we went for an ice cream. Last evening we had a party because Tina had a birthday party. We bought her a present: a cake with candles.

salZbURg During our last Christmas holidays we went to Salzburg, because we think it is a beautiful town and we wanted to see it.

Salzburg is an old town in the north of Austria. We travelled there by bus. It was a long journey. We drove six hours. Salzburg is famous for Mozart’s birthplace and his house, cathedrals, palace Mirabell, castle Hohensalzburg, Christmas markets, the Salt Mine, Berchtesgaden, the Salzburg zoo, the river Salzach, the Mozarteum University of Salzburg for music, the historic city centre…

Mozart was a musician born in Salzburg in the 18th century. That’s why people often say that Salzburg is Mozart’s town.

These are Mozartkugeln or Mozart balls (small chocolates). They are one of the symbols of Salzburg. They are famous because Mozart ate them.

Two interesting facts:• The movie The Sound of Music was made in and around Salzburg in 1965.• Christmas song Silent night was written in a little village near Salzburg.

a JoUrneY TroUGH THe CoUnTrieS oF BenelUXWe started our journey in Switzerland. We stayed there in my grandpa's apartment for 4 days. On Monday, the trip started. First we saw Louxembourg's chatedral, the old town and Louxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial.

Then we drove to the Beligian Bruges. On the next day we walked around that beautiful town. After noon the road took us to the Netherlands. We first stopped to see the famous Delta Works. The weather was very windy.

We tried to find the famous Kinderdijk next. There are many mills. But before that, we drove 3 times across Rotterdam. It's a very crowded city. We slept in Delft. It's a city known by pottery.

11

A place to see is also Den Haag's museum Madurodam-Holland in miniature. We walked on a shell beach and we just turned our car on the parking place of the race cirquit in Zandvoort, too.

The next stop was Amesterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. We stayed there for 2 whole days and saw Flora Holland as well. Really lots of flowers! After 2 days we went to Zaanse Schans - another place with mills ang clogs.

Another nice town is Edam, known by cheese and Volendam, a fishing village. For the end of our journey, we stayed for 3 days in Sneek. Holland is well-known for bikes. In Amsterdam in one year 10 000 bikes are found in the river! So we rent them one day and cycled around that part of the province of Friesland.

The last thing we saw in this province was the village Giethoorn. It's a place without cars. It was raining so we couldn't rent a boat, but we went on a guided tour and saw the village from a covered boat. It was a very nice jourey and I will never forget it.

mY TriP To amSTerDamA week before Easter me and my family went to Amsterdam by plane. Amsterdam is in Dutchland, which is also called Holland or the Nederlands. They speak Dutch, which is a mix of German and English. Its neighbour countries are Germany and Belgium. In Holland there are plenty of windmills and tulips. They came from Turkey. They are also famous for their cheese factories and clogs. It’s also allowed to smoke cannabis and marihuana in Amsterdam. All the food and drinks are very expensive. You would pay 10 Euro for a plate of pasta. Half a litre of water costs at least 2 Euro. The first day we went into the centre of Amsterdam. We visited Van Gogh museum. It was boring. We ate lunch at a restaurant called Cobra Cafe. I ate burger and fries, my mom ate a soup and my dad ate minced meat. After that we went to a boat ride tour around the city centre, then we took the train back to the airport and went by airport shuttle (a bus that goes from the airport to neirby hotels) to our hotel. The second day we went country sightseeing by bus. We grabbed sandwiches from Subway and walked to the meeting point. First we went to 7 windmills next to a lake in a village called Zaanse Schans. Their specialty was a very good cocoa and hot chocolate. We went into the oldest windmill called De Zoeker and it smelled like fish. We met the oldest windmill owner in Holland. He showed us how the windmill works. Then we could go to the balcony that was wooden and it was around 3 meters over the ground with a low fence, so it was kind of scary. The roof was made out of dried wheat. Then we went to a village called Volendam. That village is known for fishermen, music and a four years old cheese factory. They have many kinds of cheese. I didn’t like some because they had weird taste. Others were pretty delicius. After that we travelled by ferry to the former island of Marken. There we visited a clog factory where there were thousands of clogs. On the ceiling there were three rows of clogs. The guy who owned the place made us take pictures of his socks! He also showed us how they make clogs. The next day we went to the airport and that’s how my Amsterdam experience ended.

HealTHY liFeSTYlehow healthy aRe yoUng people in slovenia? what aRe theiR Main health pRobleMs? what advice woUld yoU give theM foR a healthieR lifestyle? and do yoU think people in oUR coUntRy Used to lead a healthieR life in the past?

Read our reports from Slovenia to find out what some of our 9th graders have to say about it.

Health is an important thing. Now, young people in Slovenia eat a lot of fruit and vegetables to stay healthy. If we want to stay healthy, it’s good for us to go for a walk every day. It is also very good if we don’t eat sweets and junk food - that keeps us in good shape. My schoolmates are quite healthy, but some of them have problems like toothache and some of them are too fat. So I think that they shouldn’t eat sweets and they should eat healthier food. They should work out and keep themselves away from unhealthy food. In the past, people in Slovenia lived more healthily. They had home-grown vegetables, they didn’t drink sweet drinks, they didn’t eat junk food and they spent more time outdoors.

Neža Podbersič, 9 c

18

Teenagers and young people from Slovenia mostly take care of their health. They eat healthily or they are vegetarian/vegan. Teenagers from Slovenia eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Most common health problem Slovenian kids have is eating too many sweets. It became such a huge problem among youngsters that we have to get rid of it. I think they should try to go without sweets for a month and see the results. In the past people didn’t really take care of their health as much as we do now. They didn’t know hygiene back in the past. This is something that became very important over the past century. And they ate a lot of meat and dairy products back then which is not very healthy. I think teenagers nowadays live a healthier life.

Pavlina Prešeren, 9 a

I think that we eat too much candy and fast food. We also spend more time in front of television than outside. Some of my friends have problems with weight: some are too fat and some are too slim. Some of my friends also have diabetes.I think that the young generation should have more sports activities. We should eat more fruit and vegetables. About 100 years ago life was probably better. People ate more healthy food that they grew in their gardens. They spent more time outside, because computers, smart phones and televisions didn’t exist. They helped their parents in the garden or with farm animals. They spent their free time with their real friends and they were more connected.

Lea Zorn, 9 c

In Slovenia most young people don’t care about their health. They drink a lot of alcohol and they also smoke cigarettes. We don’t always eat healthy food, but we are still better than American people. The biggest problem of Slovenian teenagers are computer games. In my opinion they should spend more time outdoors with their friends. People in the past lived more healthily because they ate only healthy food that they produced themselves on their farms. They worked more, too. They lived more healthily because they had no cars and no buses, so they have to go on foot or by bike.

Patrik Baša, 9 a

In Slovenia kids and teenagers usually don’t have a lot of problems with health. Kids usually eat lunch at school, which isn’t the healthiest option but it’s not that bad for you either. It’s also really common for kids and teenagers to practice sports. So not a lot of young people have problems with being overweight, like in other countries. My schoolmates don’t have that many problems with health. I just think that we can all be a little bit too lazy to practice sports, so we can get sick faster than the people who are physically active. We should always spend a lot of time in the fresh air and eat lots of vegetables and fruits. And also we shouldn’t eat fast food, because it’s not good for us. People in the past lived more healthily than we do right now, they ate things that they made on their own and drank lots of water. People now mostly drink juices with tons of sugar.I think that a lot of people haven’t realized yet how important their health is.

TeenS anD moBile PHoneSEverybody knows that teenagers love their phones. Parents purchase smartphones for their children in order to keep in touch at all times. But the problem with smartphones is that teenagers don’t use them only for calling and can even develop dangerous habits or become victims of a cyber crime. Find out what our students say about the subject!

Mobile phones have been around for about 10 years. During this time they have become a huge part of our lives. They represent a tool to make our lives easier. Somehow this device sends information to space and back to Earth in the blink of an eye. So we can talk to someone even if they are on the other side of the world, just by ringing the phone.Mobile phones are actually many things combined into one, for example a camera and a video camera. You can easily take photos with your phone. You can also play games, read a book, play and listen to music. A mobile phone can give you information from around the globe in less than a second. But what is the price we’re paying for that? In a way we have become primitive. Let’s take a meal as an example. Sometimes you had to pray and say thanks before eating, but now you have to take a picture and post it on social media. So in order to connect with people from around the world, we first have to disconnect from our closest friends and family. But I think people are more and more aware of this problem, especially in primary schools. Primary schools in Slovenia don’t allow the use of phones in the school area. If you use a phone, the teachers take your phone away for some time, until your parents pick it up. And this is the way it’s supposed to be, because if we didn’t have this rule, the youngest kids wouldn’t know how to play with each other. I think that if there were no mobile phones, life would be simple and better again. Of course there would also be some negative consequences, but I don’t think it could compare to what we would receive in return. Life would still go on, just like it did before mobile phones appeared. In conclusion, life would be better, but that’s just my opinion.

Vida Lestan, 9 a

20

Almost all of us have a mobile phone. We can’t imagine our life without it.We don’t need them just for calling and texting, we use them to take photos, to play games and stay safe. If we forget something or if we need a ride, we just call our parent or someone else.On the other hand, games and social networks can cause an addiction. Also, phones are harmful for health because they radiate. In our school mobile phones must be turned off and we mustn’t use them at school. In my opinion phones have more advantages than disadvantages, but children get them too early, so they don’t understand their purpose.

Lana Vinazza, 9 c

Messaging, or texting as it is frequently called, is sending and receiving short messages using a mobile phone. If you want to send text messages in English, you need to know some abbreviations. Here are some to get you started:

oUr HeroeStInKara KovačTinkara Kovač is a Slovenian singer, pop-rock musician, flutist and music teacher (she teaches the flute). She was born on 3th September 1978.Tinkara started with her music performance very early. When she was just nine years old, she won the music competition which is called »Veseli tobogan«. At this event Bojan Adamič saw her and offered to work with her, but her parents didn’t agree with that because they thought she was too young.Tinkara got another chance a few years later, when composer Danilo Kocijančič and lyrics writer Drago Mislej-Mef made the first composition for her. With that composition she won the 1st prize for the most promising young performer. It was her first success. But right now she’s really got a lot of success. She won the EMA competition in 2014, so she was our representative for Eurosong in the same year. It was her biggest success. The title of her song was Round and round.I think that she is a very nice person. She is really full of energy. When I met her, she was very friendly to me. She was smiling at me and made me happy, because I was sad. Her magic smile, which she gave me then is my memory forever.I like her very much.

It was a cold and rainy night and the wind was howling through the trees. I heard the sound of machine guns firing and airplanes flying through the sky. I knew it! The war wasn’t over. I ran, ran as fast as I could, but they captured me. They sent me to one of their camps. It was tough: rotten food, muddy water and no sleep. I slowly made friends with other prisoners, and we made a plan to get out. My part was to kill one of the alien guards and take his outfit and weapons. Then I took other prisoners out of the camp, playing like they were found guilty stealing and are now going to be executed in the forest. We were out! We went to the nearest human town and made contact with a weapon dealer. We humans were strong and wanted to win the war, so we bought explosives. We knew that the only way aliens could get to our planet is by using some kind of teleportation device. Our plan was to get there, plant the explosives and evacuate to a safe area. The plan was flawless and humans won the war. The planet is safe now and no aliens have ever touched us again.

It was a cold and rainy night and the wind was howling trough the trees. That night Tim was awake. He was at the window and was looking out. Suddenly he saw lightning right in front of his house. The power has gone, too. He was really scared. He didn’t know what to do. He ran to wake his parents, but he forgot that his parents went out. He felt even more scared. He jumped right into his bed. The wind was howling:”Tim, Tim, Tim!” He was terrified. At that moment he woke up in his bed as his mum said:”Tim, you are late for school!” He ran to school and he realized that it was just a dream.

It was a cold and rainy night and the wind was howling through the trees. In the little house lived William and Hamish. They lived in Scotland. They were great warriors but they were poor. England liked to attack Scotland. Scotland, with William on the top, made a move to the English city Ford. The lord of Ford was the king’s cousin Bruce. The battle was very long but William’s army won. English warriors ran home and left Scotland in freedom.

Tomaž Skok, 7 a

It was a cold and rainy night and the wind was howling trough the trees. There was a girl, walking down the street. She had purple hair, a dark green hoodie covering her cold and dark blue eyes, black jeans and brown sneakers. The girl stared at the floor and placed her hands in her pockets, then she slowly took her hands out of her pockets, with a grenade in her hand. With an evil grin she ran to the closest building she could find. “Such a beautiful night … to destroy … EVERYTHING!!!” said the girl in a somewhat psychotic tone, activating and throwing the grenade. The grenade went inside the building, shattering the window. When the grenade touched the ground, it exploded. The girl watched, as the people from inside the building started running out of the building, screaming and shouting. The girl looked at a man with a tux and some kind of glasses, brown hair and green eyes. This man looked at the terrorist girl (or simply known as the girl who threw the grenade. ) He said : “Raven ‘Trigger’ Milton …” to the terrorist girl standing in front of him. “So, you DO know Me, ha?” Raven smiled, pulling out a gun. Before the man could react, Raven shot, making him fall over. Assuming he was dead, Raven quickly ran to the closest hiding spot. She looked left and right, she didn’t seem to spot anyone, she started thinking of an escape plan because of the police that would soon come and chase her. She sighed: “F**k!” She ran to the closest bridge, looked down, and, as bold as ever, jumped down 300 feet, diving into the water. That was the last day that anyone saw her. Some people think she is dead, some people think that she is just hiding, but the truth will never be known.

an eXPeDiTion To an UnKnown PlaneTan iMaginative essay

Scientists thought that there was another planet in our solar system, so they decided to organise an expedition to discover this new planet. They invited me to join the expedition as a newspaper journalist.

We went to space in a big spaceship and travelled for five days. First we passed the Moon and then Mars. Then we saw a small spot and certainly it wasn’t Jupiter. We came closer and we saw this new planet. It was smaller than Mercury and it was yellow with a lot of big craters. There weren’t any trees but there was a big yellow river - probably because of microorganisms. The temperature on the planet was about 50°C. I called it: Yellow Jelly.

I think that we aren’t alone in space and there is life also on other planets because space is endless and there are a lot of possibilities for life on unknown planets. These creatures are certainly different from us because they are adapted to the atmospheric conditions there.

Everyone was sooo excited when the day of take-off came. I and three other astronauts got in the rocket and waved to our family and friends. We sat and the rocket took off. The flight went well, we flew past Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune … Suddenly we heard a strange noise, the rocket started falling, faster and faster. We were scared and didn’t know what to do. The rocket crashed on a planet we didn’t know existed. The planet was very strange. There were trees, plants, but no water. Instead of water there was lava. We were having our astronaut suits on, because the atmosphere was very thick. I and one astronaut went on a journey to see this planet while the other two were fixing the rocket. On the planet there were apple and banana trees, oaks, elms … but we didn’t see any animals or humans. We took photos and made notes for scientists on the Earth. Then we went back to the rocket – it was fixed. We returned to the Earth safely. The expedition was exciting and useful. Scientists named the new planet we discovered Plat, because of its plants and lava and no animals.I think there is life on other planets, because we can’t be the only creatures in space.

Neja Vodopivec, 8 a

During my last holidays I was with my family in Orlando, Florida. We visited the space station where they have rockets. They were getting one rocket ready for space travel. My father bought four tickets and we boarded it. The rocket took off so fast that I could not breathe. Suddenly we saw a planet in front of us and we landed on this planet. We left the rocket in special clothes. When I was walking I felt very light. With my family I went to explore the planet. The planet was red with blue plants. My father wanted to pick a blue plant as a souvenir, but the plant disappeared. As we did not have a lot of oxygen, we had to return back to the Earth. On the way back I was very scared, because we did not have a lot of oxygen. I thought that we will stay in space.I think that there is no other life in space – except magic blue plants.

My expedition to an unknown planet was amazing. Space is very beautiful and our solar system is incredible. So I decided to tell you a little about the expedition, so here it is.We travelled for around two days before we came to this planet. Although it took us so long, the journey was still so incredible. We saw so many stars and different types of planets (it was beautiful). Our first stop was the Moon, there we just decided to plug ourselves to the rocket and just jump around, it was so much fun. After an hour or two we had to get going, because it was very late. So we travelled on and the rocket just kept going. Finally after 10 hours we came to our final destination and I was extremely excited. The planet was very beautiful because it was so different. It had blue, pink yellow and green patches all over the surface. So I thought that we were going to land on it but we didn’t. We went through this weird atmosphere that was almost like colours of the rainbow. Finally we landed on a huge mountain and the view was amazing. So we decided to have a walk around this place and we saw flowers that were as big as trees. There were also these small villages all around the place so that got me thinking about us and the space. I believe in aliens and I think that we’re not alone in space. There has to be life out there. It’s not possible that we are alone because space is a never ending place and there is no way that we are alone. So that is my personal opinion.

a SPY STorYIt was a normal night at the casino. A little bit of poker, black jack…A scientist, who was already a little drunk, put a chip that could control all the world’s satellites on the table. At the next table, Mr Time heard what he said but he still played. A man won and took the chip, but he didn’t know that Dr X and her bodyguard were watching everything. She stopped him and forced him to give her the chip. Mr Time was done with losing his money so he went to the reception area and he saw Dr X with the chip in her hand. He couldn’t let that happen, it would be awful. He rushed outside, but Dr X was already in her limo. The world was in great danger, so he called his trusted friend and partner Chelsea and told her everything. Chelsea was Mr. Times’ former partner when he was still a member of the police force. He lost the job when he let Dr. X escape, nearly killing 10 people. But Chelsea was still his friend. The next day they went to Dr X’s villa to take the chip back. They broke in and went to her office. They looked everywhere but they couldn’t find the chip. They were desperate but then Chelsea found a hidden button behind Dr X’s portrait. They pushed it and a secret door opened. It led to the basement. In the basement there were smart gadgets and computers. Chelsea and Justin searched the computers and found a file containing a plan:

1. Get the professor drunk2. Let someone win the chip3. Steal the chip4. Go to the secret island5. Use the chip6. Blackmail the government7. Get all the money in the world8. Become the ruler of all the world9. Get a manicure

Chelsea typed in ‘secret island’ and found the map. ‘Chelsea, look, I found the chip,’ said Justin. But then they heard Dr X and her guard. ‘Not so fast, Justin,’ said Dr X, ‘The chip belongs to me and you’re not going to get it, I’m not going to let you get between me and my plan.’ ‘This chip doesn’t belong to you and I’m going to stop you once and for all,’ said Justin. ‘Guard, get them, don’t let them escape!’ Dr X shouted. The guard punched both of them, they fell and Justin’s eyes closed slowly.

HUGo Dr . XAustria-Vienna-19:30

Justin Times’ plane arrived at Vienna National Airport. He went straight to the car that was waiting for him. His CIA co-worker agent Chelsea was sitting there and she silently waited for him to enter. Justin entered, the car started running.

‘Hello, agent XC,’ said Justin.

‘Hello. Let’s go directly to the thing that brought you here’, said Chelsea while a glass screen showing a woman appeared in the car.

‘This is Roberta Fleder,’ Chelsea showed the picture of the woman on the screen, ‘or better known as Doctor X. CIA has been trying to track her down, but there had never been any information of her existence until last week when a road camera spotted her in Abu Dhabi.’

‘Why is she so important to the CIA?’ Justin asked coldly.

‘You probably don’t remember, but once she was one of us until she disappeared and after that day her whereabouts have remained a mystery. However, after her disappearance there have been several attacks on the CIA database and satellites. She has also hacked the USA government data but the road camera gave us some information so we eavesdropped her calls, and now we think that she will strike at today’s Mozart Opera Gala’.

‘What’s my task here?’ asked Justin.

‘Some very influential people will be there, your work is to protect them, they’re going to have a meeting in the opera house,’ said Chelsea.

‘So the Gala is only a distraction from the meeting?’ asked Justin.

‘Exactly, but you don’t need to worry about anything because I will guide you on the earpiece,’ said Chelsea.

The car stopped.

‘This is where we say goodbye,’ said Chelsea, and Justin went towards the back door of the building where the secret meeting was going to happen. He went to the elevator that took him to floor 5.

After the elevator door opened, two guards searched him for several minutes and then he went into the room where the secret meeting was going on.

‘Can you hear me, Justin?’ said Chelsea through the earpiece.

‘Very clearly, Chelsea, do you have any new information about what Doctor X wants to do here?’ asked Justin.

‘Not yet, just be there and make sure everything is safe,’ she answered.

‘Okay,’ said Justin.

After that a tall man in black put a brown briefcase behind Justin, but by the time Justin turned around the man had already disappeared.

28

29

‘What’s that?’ said Justin.

‘Oh, I forgot to tell you, that was an FBI agent, and in that briefcase there is a computer with the satellite control passwords. Your job is to take the computer safely to floor 10 and give it to the woman waiting for you there.’

‘Okay,’ said Justin while walking to the elevator.

‘Wait, don’t…’ The earpiece rustled.

‘What?’ asked Justin.

‘It’s her…’ The earpiece still rustled.

‘She’s there… trap…’

‘I can’t hear you,’ said Justin and stepped into the elevator. The elevator door closed. Suddenly, smoke started to come in through the valves.

‘What’s happening?’ said Chelsea nervously.

Justin Time was unconscious. All he could hear before he passed out was ‘Take… briefcase to the care… like nothing happened.’

If you would like to know what happened next, read the text in the textbook Project 2, page 70.

iSn’T an earTQUaKe enoUGH?It was a nice day in the USA, the weather was fine, just like the weather reporters said and Kate was almost running to her work because she was late. But the ground suddenly started to shake. An earthquake made a crack in the street which went deeper every second. The buildings started to shake and to crack. The windows started to fall. She also fell on the ground and crawled on the other side of the road and grabbed a street light. Now the buildings started collapsing and people started running very fast and screaming. So did Kate, but she was trying to keep calm and focus in that big chaos. She stood up and ran to the nearest building and stayed there until the earthquake stopped. That took approximately 15 minutes. It wasn’t very strong so it didn’t do much damage. Her city was near the ocean and it was unusual for earthquakes to happen near the city, so Kate started to think that the epicenter wasn’t in the city. The thought that the epicenter was in the ocean crossed her mind very quickly. Well, what can we say, she did a great job at geography lessons when still at school. And of course she knew that a tsunami would follow. So she started shouting that everybody should move to higher grounds or somewhere safer. She kept running and shouting so that everyone would do the same thing. Some people started to follow her and hide. She and some other people ran to the end of the street and into a very high building. At the time when they were climbing the stairs, they saw the wave approaching. They soon realized that the earthquake and consequently the wave wasn’t that big and it was not going to do much damage. So they waited until the wave hit the shore and flooded the street. It took with it many cars, street lights, trash cans and also some people. It was over but the water was still flooding the street. Some people grabbed street lights and tried to hold on to them. Kate encouraged some other people and they went downstairs to help. When they came downstairs, they helped an old lady who was about to drown. She was very thankful and she gave an old ring to Kate. She didn’t want to take it, but the old lady insisted. In a couple of seconds the army and police helicopters arrived and started to pull people out of the water. They also helped Kate and people with her. She thought she was lucky and from that day on, whenever she’s sad, she looks at that ring and she remembers that she is truly a hero who saved many lives in that horrible double natural disaster.

Secondo me, Šempeter è una bellissima città.

È costruito in stile greco.
