JournalingJournaling is having a conversa-tion with the Lord on paper (or your phone, or however you like recording things). Questions to

ask the Lord could be: Who do you want to be for me to-day? What are you excited about

today? etc.

Start and take it from there.

Be still and receive from the Lord,

let Him guide the conversation. Remember, the Lord initiates, you

respond!

MeditatingYour word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. (Psalm

119:1)

Let the Lord speak to you through scripture. Meditate on His word,

and He will reveal Himself to you.

Some scripture to start with could be:

Psalm 63 -- Psalm 91 -- Psalm 23 -- Matthew 6:25-34-- Romans 8

-- 1 Thessalonians 5:18  -- Hebrews 4:9-10

CreatingWhat do you enjoy doing? What relaxes you? Whatever you like

doing, do it with Jesus.

He delights in what you delight in. Break out those brushes again,

your sketching pencils. Maybe there is this song you wanted to

finish for a while now. Or take up a new craft or learn a new skill.

Converse with Jesus what it is

about what you are doing that you like so much. Ask Him what He

likes. when you are done.  Maybe you can discuss what you have

created with Jesus. It may result in some good laughs, or in a big

embrace by the Father.

Beholding JesusBut we all, with unveiled face, be-holding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord,

the Spirit. 2. Cor. 3:18

Take time with Jesus. All you do is just look at Him - nothing else. Ask Holy Spirit to help you not to do anything, but just look at the

Son. What is he revealing to you about himself? What is His countenance

towards you? Dwell in His presence and enjoy just being together. It may be

challenging at first, so just start with a few minutes and if you feel grace on it, increase the time the

next time you meet!

you about this time or share your favorite moments of that day!

Sleeping/restingWhen you lie down, you will not

will be sweet. Prov. 3:24

In peace I will both lie down and sleep,

For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety. Ps. 4:8

Behold, He who keeps Israel

Will neither slumber nor sleep. Ps. 121:4

Consider being intentional about

getting rest and sleep.

to you while you are your mind are resting. Ask Him for dreams and ask Him for grace to be able to remember them. Even if you think you are not dreaming, you

are!

you through your dreams!

Dreaming with GodGod thinks so much bigger than us and His thoughts toward us

are always better than we think.

Spend some time dreaming with God and tuning into His BIG and BOLD thinking. Here are a few questions and thoughts to get

you started:

What is the biggest dream in your heart? What if the biggest

constraint to your biggest dream disappeared?

Imagine being 10 times more in-

timate with your friends than you are now. Imagine being 10 times

more intimate with God. Has money been a constraint in

your life? Picture yourself remov-ing the chains off of yourself and placing them on money so that

you become the master and mon-ey becomes your slave.
