The Undoctrination Project I. RESEARCH Continue research of your figure. The objective of this project is to present information as if you ARE the philosopher or scientist. The information you present should be about 20% biographical and 80% ideas. What are your thoughts on society, government, freedom, space, physics, etc? What books or ideas are you presenting? Why are you right and your predecessors or contemporaries wrong? You should be presenting answers to these questions in your TED talk. Keep a running list of your sources in your OneNote notebook so you can write your MLA cited bibliography. II. PRESENTATION SCRIPT AND VISUAL STORYBOARD (10 POINTS GROUP) 1. SCRIPT - Begin to draft a script of what both you and your partner plan to say and incorporate into the VERBAL portion of your TED talk. Review the evaluation criteria for verbal pitches and practice the overall timing. Your talk cannot exceed 4 minutes. You may use OneNote or Word to write your script. Actually write what you’re going to say, and indicate who is going to say it. 2. STORYBOARD –Draw a rough sketch of your VISUAL. Include specific text points you plan to incorporate as well as rough images you plan to use. Use the next sheet (and duplicate as needed) to create a scripted storyboard for your TED talk. Beginnings of SCRIPTS AND STORYBOARDS WILL BE CHECKED AT THE START OF Next CLASS.
