• Romney is stating that parents don’t have hope for their kids to have a good life and jobs.

• “But driving home late from that second job, or standing there watching the gas pump hit 50 dollars and still going, when the realtor told you that to sell your house you'd have to take a big loss, in those moments you knew that this just wasn't right.”

• Here Romney is stating that the way America is running is ridiculous. He wants to change the way we live. He wants us to be able to not worry about how we live anymore.

“In the days ahead, you will get to know Paul and Janna better. But last night America got to see what I saw in Paul Ryan – a strong and caring leader who is down to earth and confident in the challenge this moment demands.”

This part of the speech provides credibility to Romney’s vice president by saying good things about Paul Ryan.

• Here Romney touches our emotions on how his dad had to grow up living in horrible conditions. It makes us want to make a change.
