• Monitoring the epizootic situation;

• Exchange of the operational information and the latest techniques

for the fight against epizootics;

• Meeting with the Veterinary authorities of Belarus to discuss the African Swine

Veterinary Education Twinning project

Agreement on Organization and Implementation of Twining Project in Veterinary

Education between Conseil supérieur de l’Ordre des Vétérinaires (parent VSB) and

Russian Veterinary Association was signed on 27 May 2014 in Paris, France

The aim of the project is:

to establish and maintain veterinary favorable situation in the country

which is based on:

• high quality veterinary education

• reasonable manpower policy

• qualified university training of the specialists and their re-training as well

as a clear system of advanced training and veterinary specialists’

accreditation confirmation.

Veterinary Education Twinning project

Signed an agreement for the development of veterinary

education program in accordance with international

standards between the Veterinary School of Toulouse,

France, and the Consortium of higher education institutions

of Kazakhstan preparing veterinary staff

«Twinninglab»

Agreement about getting “ the National Reference Center for

Veterinary Medicine" Astana status reference laboratory for

brucellosis in Central Asian Region, is a collaborator of the

OIE Reference Laboratory Teramo, Italy

Twinning project

The OIE signed the technical agreement to support

Kazakhstan by official request for scientific-methodical and

technical assistance to Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary

Institute of the Agriculture Ministry of the Republic of

Kazakhstan in development and validation of the national

program for foot-and-mouth disease control, preparation of

the dossier and application for foot-and-mouth-disease-free

status for the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Carrying out work in accordance with the procedures of

Government Decree of Kazakhstan "On Ratification of the

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of

Kazakhstan and the World Organization for Animal Health to

establish the OIE Sub-regional Food-and-Mouth Disease

coordination Unit Office in Astana" to ensure of FMD epizootic

the welfare in the territory of the Central Asian region.
