“SWACHHTA ABHIYAN” AT NIRALA

BAZAAR PARISAR, AURANGABAD,

MAHARASHTRA.

October 2017) On 6th October 2017, the Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Mission turned three. It means three years

have passed since our Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi had started Clean India Mission on this

day. Now this movement has become very popular among the masses.

The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the people regarding

Cleanliness and its benefits. Under this programmed, team of 63 students from SHREEYASH

POLYTECHNIC AURANGABAD with 12 staff members had to participate with Deputy

Commissioner Ministry of women & child development Mr.Sirsat M .K. with his team & Faculty

from M.P.Law College Dr.Barhate S.S. with her team. As a part of this Cleanliness Drive; we

have to clean the whole NIRALA BAZAAR PARISAR area.

DTE and Divisional commissioner Aurangabad, Maharashtra observed Swachhta

Abhiyan on 6th

October 2017. During this day, Aurangabad city was vibrant with various

activities related to cleaning. Mr. Mahesh Shivankar, Director of Technical education,

Aurangabad inspired the students to ensure cleanliness around them and the institution and run

programs to sensitize all members, including faculty, staff and students to keep the surroundings

clean. Many activities were conceptualized and carried out by various colleges of Aurangabad city

in order to spread the message of Swachh Bharat. The Co-ordinator Principal of the Shreeyash

Polytechnic, Aurangabad, Mrs. S.M. Shende, on the occasion of this day, interacted with the

students and motivated them by sharing immediately implementable ideas pertaining to Swachh

Bharat. Following activities were conducted during Swachhta Abhiyan at Nirala Bazaar Parisar,

Aurangabad.

10 Appreciation to municipal corporation sweepers for their regular contribution to Swachh bharat.

11 At least one swachhta activity adaptation for day to day life from localized peoples.

In the end we all took oath of keeping our home, locality and city clean. It was a unique experience

for all of us. We were curious to be the part of this great drive that could have transformed the face

of our country for ever.

All the activities held in the whole day will go a long instilling the seeds of social

responsibilities in the minds of the leaders of tomorrow. These small steps being taken today will

empower India to take giant leaps in the future.
