The College Unit of the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension enrolled 234 students (2016-

17) for the first time in the history of Vivek college. It is a university based and approved activity

where students are given various projects which help to improve and develop their personality and

also to contribute to society. The main intention behind starting this activity was to motivate

students to participate in extension activities and to avail the benefit of 10 grace marks. Our college

has undertaken four projects

1. Anna Poorna Yojana (APY)

2. Career Project (CP)

3. Industrial Orientation Project (IOP)

4. Survey of Women Status (SWS)

Dr. Sujata Dhopte of Malini Kishore Sanghvi college of commerce, was appointed as field Co-

ordinator for our college. She had visited our college for the meeting held on 19th jan,2017. She had

highlighted the importance of DLLE , discussed various aspets and guided the students . She also

congratulated all our students for active participation of students in DLLE.

DLLE has organized and conducted various events as follows:

(Career based poster making competition)

A. On 9th January,2017 Our DLLE students have also participated in UDAAN FESTIVAL

organized by the Department of DLLE, University of Mumbai. They have participated in street

play and poster making competition on 1st of February,2017.

Miss Vishranti Shinde Stood second in poster making competition, students of vivek college

participated in street play competition in which 15 students of our college had taken part in the

year 2016-17.

Miss Bhakti Rane stood first in poster making competition, students of vivek college stood

Second in street play competition in which 15 students of our college had taken part in the

year 2015-16.
