Our high-touch program is more than a grocery delivery service, and 99% of clients said that our program makes them feel more socially supported. Store to Door has seen tremendous service growth in 2016. We officially launched a groundbreaking plan to double the number of people we serve annully by 2020, and updated our mission and vision statements to better reflect Store to Door’s core values of Nourishment, Connection and Dignity. We set a path to achieve our strategic plan goals and focused on increasing service while maintaining the quality of our program.

This investment includes the hiring of a Client Outreach Coordinator who will provide culturally competent out-reach to those in the community that qualify for our services and are most at risk for hunger, isola-tion and institutionalization. SERVICE DELIVERY572 clients received 8,652 grocery deliveries, including 92 food boxes.

905 volunteers gave 17,182 volunteer hours equating to value of $404,796.

451 deliveries were to clients enrolled through Oregon Project Independence.

21% of our deliveries were to clients enrolled in SNAP.

CLIENT SATISFACTION99% of our clients said that our service

helps them maintain independence and felt more socially supported after

enrolling in our program.

Since 2012, we have seen a 29% increase in grocery deliveries and volunteer hours have increased by a total of 145%! The number of clients we serve has increased 63% and we have seen a whopping 262% increase in volunteers!

VOLUNTEER SATISFACTION99% of volunteers said their experience

was “Good to Amazing.” When asked what one word best described their

experience, most said: Fulfilling. When asked what keeps bringing them back,

most volunteers said: the Mission.

FINANCIAL SNAPSHOTStore to Door’s service is sustained by

a combination of contributed and earned income. Contributed income consists of support from foundations, corporations, individuals and through in-kind donations. We generate earned income from grocery bill reimbursements, delivery fees, coupon redemption, and through the Fred Meyer Rewards program.

Expenses included $637,692 for program, $107,215 for fundraising and $73,533 for management and general operating support.

Contributed revenue totaled $375,751, including $172,301 in foundation grants, $86,946 in corporate gifts, $101,477 in individual contributions, and $15,072 in in-kind goods and services.

Our total revenues for 2016 were $818,440, and we completed the year with $389,918 in ending net assets thanks to several year-end foundation grants and our holiday fundraising efforts. We also saw an increase of 33.4% in overall corporate giving.

Tues., April 4 5:00 p.m. Volunteer Appreciation Party Come celebrate with us at Deschutes Brewery as we recognize the wonderful volunteers that are changing lives!

Tues., May 30 Annual Dine Out Show your support for Store to Door by dining out at participating restaurants on this day and 10% of proceeds will go to support our program. Stay tuned for participating restaurants.
