Action 4.1 began with the start of the project activities "To provide significant visibility in the media, a team of journalists and experts will be set up to organize a press office, contact newspapers and magazines, TV, radio and social networks at the beginning and end of the project, as well as during local "open days" (WP 3). Each partner undertakes to use their contacts to disseminate the results of the project, including through the local press, local and national TV, radio, social networks, etc.

The team that each partner identified was actively involved during the project in order to ensure a timely communication and information campaign that complies with the project objectives and methodology presented in the "Communication Plan" prepared by Association Pluralis: Communication must focus on the results and on the impact of the action taken. Each partner must ensure that the project and its results are disseminated and highlighted, during the project and also after its completion, through mass media and other contacts in order to make known the local and national realities of the activities and project initiatives implemented.

The external communication team.

The partners identified journalists / experts in communication and relations with the mass media and the local press to give maximum media coverage to the project activities, especially during the main events: • Inter-partnership meetings;

• Open days in Isola Capo Rizzuto, Forest, Bucharest, Galati, Lorca-Murcia, Liverpool, Prague, Nicosia;

• Presentation seminars in schools;

• Final conference (Prociv IT).

Considering the importance that "communication" has within the project, the activities foreseen in action 4.1 integrate with all the other actions foreseen in Work Package 3 and Work Package 4:

• WP3 - Targeted awareness campaign Main objectives of the awareness campaign: • Change the mentality of civil society towards foreign minors, starting from young people, through innovative tools and methodologies. • Reduce exclusion and encourage greater awareness of UASC issues through awareness-raising on the mass media, in schools and local communities. WP 4 - Dissemination Main objectives: • Raise awareness among young people, public opinion, the media, policy makers at all levels, cultural actors, civil society, on the themes and objectives of the project. • Disseminate results within the partnership and beyond the partnership. • Evaluate the results obtained to guarantee the monitoring and the sustainability of the project beyond the local and regional borders, the multiplier effect and its replicability.

Report Activity 4.1 – Press office (started at the beginning of the project)

Each individual partner managed and developed his own relationships with the mass media, without prejudice to the common goal of promoting the project in its local and national realities. A Facebook profile has also been created https://www.facebook.com/lab31.project/ on which to exchange photographic images, videos, comments and considerations on project activities, but also on all the related issues and/or in any case of common interest, with the aim of promoting project activities on social media in progress and having direct contact and exchange of views with partners and individual companies and operators, however interested…. The partners, as agreed in the meetings, communicated the contact person with the status of "editor" for updating the information on the Facebook profile LAB31 and the representative of the "press office" functional to the dissemination and promotion of the activities in the local media. In compliance with the Objectives of activity 4.1, the following activities were carried out:

• identified the figures necessary to ensure the necessary communication actions and relations with the local mass media;

• guaranteed maximum media visibility to the WGs organized during the project activities

using all the local mass media available;

• transmission to the manager of the Website https://lab31project.eu (Pluralis) articles, videos, photographic images relating to the activities in order to keep the LAB31 Website

constantly updated (as provided in the Communication Plan) in order to maintain a constant level of interest in the project activities;

• kept the FACEBOOK profile constantly updated https://www.facebook.com/lab31.project/ on which photographic images, videos, comments and considerations on project activities were exchanged, but also on all issues inherent and / or in any case of common interest. This intervention allowed to stimulate the right interest on LAB31.

• Meetings with local authorities, bodies and administrations were held on the occasion of

the individual events (open days) which were adequately publicized and promoted on the website and on social networks, so as to involve institutional subjects in moments of listening and sharing of project activities, as well as to stimulate future project initiatives and collaboration processes

PRESS OFFICE AND MASS MEDIA ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT

The activities of the Az. 4.1 began with the start of the project on the occasion of the Kick off meeting (Le Castella 17 - 18 January 2018) and continued with the establishment of the envisaged Consultative Committees and Open days, appointments for which the mass media of each were convened partner country with direct feedback on the press, televisions and web media.

In order to allow greater media visibility to the project, in compliance with the rules of the Application form, offices and communication staff have been created, also with professional journalists, with the task of monitoring the photographic and video aspects of the individual events and whose professional support has allowed the ALFEA partner to have additional professional images to implement the video production activities of their competence, which cannot be acquired otherwise.

On the occasion of the final event, the identified professionals gave their contribution for the best media representation of the project activities.

The final meeting had an important impact on the media, thanks also to the video message from the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli and the congratulatory letter from the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.
