Rephouse offers a complete range of premium sports, training and facility flooring solutions, exclusively to Seara.
Design capabilities range from complete fitness centre floor design in conjunction with Seara’s commercial fitness consultants, to working with architects who have already created their vision of the space and need Seara’s assistance to create the technical specification required to execute it, or small independent gym operators who do not have a dedicated consultant.
The start of any Rephouse project starts with detailed 2D and 3D design services. This is a wide-ranging service that starts at the planning consultation phase, where fit-for-purpose products are selected from the wider range of Neoflex Fitness Flooring solutions available.
Three-dimensional (3D) renderings and flythrough videos are also developed to convey the flooring concept proposed. These are available for release to clients as valuable pre-opening promotional material.
For this project, SEARA and the Cascade Club chose 10mm Neoflex REPtile Fitness Flooring with inlaid rubber graphics to highlight different training areas, and a 24sqm Cascade Club logo centered for all to see in the main training room.
Six colors formed the palette: 3 shades of red and 3 shades of gray/graphite.
Neoflex REPtiles are dual-durometer, digitally cut rubber tiles available from 6 - 30 mm thick, and serve as a comfortable, resilient surface for freestyle group training, functional areas, or suspension training activities. The top surface is finished with synthetic EPDM rubber for good grip and excellent durability.
Integrating the track with the surrounding staircases and areas to create flow in the club was also important. The simple striped white line motif that connects the track and staircases underwent several stages of detailed design to get the end result just right.
Technical concerns such as acoustics and vibration, as well as force reduction for freeweight areas were combined with an assessment of the Club’s location by Seara and Rephouse. Located in a residential / serviced residential building, the Cascade Club needed to be particularly considerate of their neighbors.
In regards to fitness design Seara and Rephouse analysed long-term fitness trends and usage to ensure a minimum five year application. The Club enjoys a unique “luxury, urban country club” reputation. The design needed to reflect that: to look and feel different from the commercial offerings in the area.

Use of the Cascade Club logo in a central position with a stylized background imparts a feeling of energized sophistication.
Seara also gave quite a lot of thought to the equipment layout, making it quite easy
to implement some of the key features they were looking for – like a 30m long track. It
made sense to highlight this in the contrasting blue color, as it is very unique to offer such a
substantial length track in a city-club.

Rephouse used Neoflex REPtiles with inlaid graphics to build up detailed flooring patterns in a modular, 1m x 1m rubber tile format. Since the designs are CNC cut and inlaid under exacting manufacturing conditions, the accuracy, fidelity and complexity of the designs that are possible is revolutionary.

The renovation is a strong testament to the special relationship between Seara, the Cascade Club and Rephouse. It serves as a showpiece for the Seara brand, for their other commercial customers and the possibilities of Neoflex Fitness Flooring.
