Why not make a new friend! Reach out to someone of your nationality or another. Invite them to your home, share your culture, language, holidays or foods, and let them do the same.

By bringing people into your world, and sharing theirs, you make the world smaller and help spread peace, tolerance and understanding.

Spread the message! Share a peace symbol with a friend! Put them on your lunch box or schoolbooks!

It's hard to forget what happened in the USA on Sept 11, 2001. It seems to have changed the way we all think about our world. Like international Peace Day, Sept 11 is another day to reach out to those around you to make your world a better place.
