Description
The relay VN100R is designed primarily for Over Current and Earth Fault protection, using the well accepted time-current grading principle.
A versatile and simple relay offering different inverse time-current and definite time-current characteristics, which are selectable at site as per the requirements.

Applications

1A and 5A dual rated CT inputs are available with all VN200R relays using separate terminals. The auxiliary voltage for the power supply and the digital inputs is a wide-range design from 20 to 250 V AC/DC.
The three phase over current and earth fault relay VN200R is used for short circuit and earth fault protection based on the time – current grading principle, at power plants and electrical substations of utilities as well as industries.

Applications
The relay VN500R is mainly aligned for protection, control, measurement and supervision of asynchronous motors and the associated drivers. Typically the motor protection relay is used with circuit breaker, contactor controlled HV & LV motors in a variety of drives, such as pumps, conveyors, fans and Crushers etc.,The relay shall be of a numerical communicating type offering extensive protection, control and measuring functions in one enclosed unit. The protection relay design and data modeling shall be based on the standard. IEC 60255-149
The relay VN500R is a dedicated motor protection and control IED (intelligent electronic device) designed for protection, Control and supervision of a motor.
The multifunction motor protection relay is a secondary relay device which is connected to the current transformers of the protected motor drive. The three phase currents and the neutral current of the protected device are continuously measured and on the basis of this measurement, the thermal condition of the motor is calculated and the faults of the network are detected. In fault situations the protective units of the relay provide alarm or trip the circuit-breaker. Each start or trip provided by the relay must generate clear and reliable indications.
The motor protection relay contains one external logic control input, which is activated by a control signal on the auxiliary voltage level. The influence of the control input on the relay is determined by programming switches of the measuring module. The control input can be used either for blocking one or more of the protective stages, for carrying out an external trip order, for inhibiting a restart attempt or for resetting a latched output relay in the manual reset mode.

The relay VS95R is basically a micro controller based economical relay which is used to monitor and supervise the integrity of Circuit breaker’s trip coil. The relay is connected with a circuit breaker to monitor the trip circuit conditions(Open or Close).
Description
The essential requirement of the relay V95RS is that it should have a maximum pick-up current which will not be sufficient to energies either the CB trip coil or the tripping relay coil and at the same time will be able to supervise the healthiness of the entire trip circuit comprising DC supply, tripping cable, CB auxiliary contacts and the CB trip coil or the tripping relay coil and the DC supply to which it is connected.
Trip circuit supervision relay VS95R generates a trip circuit failure alarm, either if the trip circuit supply is disconnected or if the trip circuit connection is changed to an open circuit.
TRIP CIRCUIT SUPERVISION RELAY VS95R
The Circuit breaker contact indicates the status of relay whether the circuit breaker is in open position or closed position. The front panel of Trip circuit supervision relay VS95R having two LEDs to indicate the status of process.
In a healthy condition, the HEALTHY LED glows and the output relay remain normal condition.In the fault condition, the UNHEALTHY LED flashes and the output relay reaches the Pick-up condition and operates after a delay of >300ms

Supervision Operation
Pre Closing Condition
After the tripping circuit is completed, a small amount of sensing current flows through PC1,circuit breaker auxiliary contact(52a) and tripping coil. The trip circuit supervision relay indicate aHEALTHY condition by glowing of HEALTHY LED.
If the tripping circuit becomes an open circuit or loss of the supply voltage, the UNHEALTHY condition trip circuit supervision relay is indicated by flashing of UNHEALTHY LED and issue a control command by pick-up contacts.
Trip circuit supervision relay contact operates in the following three supervision conditions.

Applications
The VS97RS3 is a three phase fuse failure Relay, used for monitoring the healthiness of the PT secondary circuit fuses continuously. If the supply is interrupted or unbalanced due to failure of fuses in the PT circuits, the relay will trip and indicates that in which phase the fuse has failed.
The relay VS97RS3 continuously sensing the voltage across the three phase fuse individually. If the voltage is interrupted or unbalanced due to failure of fuses in the PT circuits, the relay will trip and indicates that in which phase the fuse has failed and the corresponding LED will glow.

Applications
The relay VS62R is a control relay with a time delay built in. The relay intended to be used for protection and control an event based on time in electrical power stations and sub stations.
The relay VS62R is Initiated by an external contact which connects the DC Supply to therelay terminals and the DC supply is permanently connected to the relay terminal 9and10.The Relay closer from the external contacts causes the counter to be reset immediately and start the CMOS oscillator which generates the square wave output to the binary coded decimal counter
When the comparator detects that the accumulator count has reached the set count determined by the selected switch setting, then the output element is energized and the internal oscillator inhibited
The relay resets instantaneously when the external contact is reopened

The relay V80R is basically a hinged armature, electro-mechanical relay working on the attracted armature principle. The operating element consists of armature, yoke, core and a hinge piece forming the electromagnetic path. The operating coil is wound over a bobbin through which the core is passed. when the coil is energized, the core will magnetized and attracts the hinged armature which in turn actuates the closing and opening of the contacts.
The coil is wound with super enameled copper wires having high thermal rating. Auxiliary relays can be supplied with delay on pick-up or drop-off, on specific request.

The operating coil is wound over a bobbin through which the core is passed. when the coil is energized, the core will magnetized and attracts the hinged armature which in turn actuates the closing and opening of the contacts.The coil is wound with super enameled copper wires having high thermal rating and is designed to be a high burden coil with a short time thermal rating so that the relay has a very fast operating time. A coil cut-off contact with adequate break rating is internally connected in series with the coil so that it is not continuously energized on operation.
The relay V86RH is designed to have a minimum operating current in excess of 0.025A, so that it can be used on DC supplies fitted with a negative potential biasing device.
