NURSERY CARE for children ages 6 months to 3 years during the 930am and 11am services. Please check your child(ren) in at the nursery (gym) and fill out an information card. If you want to join our team, please email Kayla Marty at [email protected].
All Sunday school classes meet each week, 930-1030am. Kingdom Kids (ages 4 - 3rd grade), Quest456 (4th-6th grade) and Youth Sunday School (7th-12th grade) meet in the following rooms:

All 7th-12th grade guests are invited! SMART MONEY SMART KIDS Class for Parents – Sundays, 930-1030am starting January 22, and Tuesdays 6-7pm starting January 24. Sessions are six weeks and are for adults. Class materials are $45 – register in the church lobby or on the church website.

[email protected]. LIBERIA MISSION TRIP Would you love to spend time pouring hope into one of the 26 orphans sponsored by Faith Community? Would you love to join the Liberian church as they share the Gospel in an animistic community through vision clinics and teacher training workshops. We are now forming a small team to travel to Liberia from June 10 – 21, 2017. We will be dwelling at the orphanage and living among the kids we love so dearly. CONCORDIA SEMINARY RECRUITMENT VISIT On January 23, Rev. Jaime Nava, an Admissions Counselor from Concordia Seminary--St. Louis will be at Faith Community to meet with men who are interested in becoming pastors and with women who are interested in becoming deaconesses. The Admissions Counselor is interested in meeting prospective students of all ages. Appointments are individual, informal and family/friends are welcome to come with you. Rev. EXPANDING OUR FAITH UPDATE We have completed 13 months of our 36 month Capital Campaign for the construction of phase 1 of our new Church Campus. Total gifts received, as of the end of 2016 are $2,201,136. Thanks to all who have made pledges and/or given gifts towards “Expanding Our Faith”. If you would like to make a pledge or give towards “Expanding Our Faith” please contact the church office. With construction planned to begin in Fall of this year, the more gifts we receive, the less debt we will incur and the more ministry we can accomplish! Thank you!

meets for 13 weeks at 630pm beginning on Tuesday, January 31. This is free and open to the public.
MOTS Our first meeting of MOTS (Mothers of Teens and Pre-Teens) will be Monday, January 30 from 630-8pm in the Banquet Room. It is a group for Moms to
support and encourage each other through the challenges and joys of raising teens and pre-teens. We will meet every last Monday at the month to discuss a different topic and share resource materials. LIBERIAN CELEBRATION LAST WEEKEND
What a blessing to have Liberian Pastors and former Liberian missionary families with us this past weekend. It was a wonderfu l reunion, and a wonderful time of celebrating and sharing how our work together in Liberia can continue so more people can be invite to know Jesus!

The following questions can help you as you prepare to receive the Lord and His gifts: 1) Do you believe that you are a sinner whose hope for eternal life comes from

As you leave church today and return home, please take the opportunity throughout the week to consider and discuss the following based on the sermon and the following Scriptures.
Monday What did Jesus mean when He told Peter and Andrew that He would make them fishers of men? Tuesday When Jesus called his first disciples to follow Him in Matthew 4, what lesson(s) can we learn from their response? Wednesday Who in your life was instrumental in inviting you to know Jesus? How did they do it? Thursday What are some ways that you could “fish for men?” Friday As a Christian, what is the difference between being a “fisher of men” vs. a “keeper of the aquarium?” Saturday Who are the people in your life (friends, coworkers, neighbors, family, relatives, strangers you see) that you can invite to know Jesus? Choose one of them this week with whom you can share your faith.

In Matthew 4, Jesus calls His first disciples to

Without question or hesitation, they
immediately stopped what they were doing and
followed Him.
Jesus promised that He would make them
fishers of men.
God calls us today to be “fishers of men” as
well and not merely “keepers of the aquarium.”
