Residents’ Thoughts on Easter
Easter is fast approaching and will be here before we know it! We wanted to hear from our residents about memories they’ve had in the past from Easter or things that they look forward to every year at Easter time. Here is what some of our residents had to say:
“I like the hopping bunny.” – Andy Dymond
“I am all about that candy!” – Carol Long
“I love eating dinner with my family.” – Randy Smith
“I enjoy spending it with my mom, dad and family members.” – Elaine Perritt
“I love going on the Easter egg hunt.” – Floyd Higley
Veterans Enjoy ProjectsVeterans received woodworking project kits from ‘Help Hospitalized Veterans’ and have been busy working on Wren House wood craft kits. Veterans sanded and painted the birdhouses which will be used in the landscaping of the garden in the front entrance of the building.

Thank You to our Volunteers
National Volunteer Recognition week is April 23-29.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend a great
big thank you to the adults, teens and organizations who
assist staff and help to deliver compassionate care to the
residents at Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
UPMC Susquehanna volunteers contributed over 62,000
hours of service to residents, patients, service partners and
families in 2016. The theme this year is “Volunteers - Make
the World a Brighter Place.” Their generous contribution of
time and talent helps to enhance the delivery of our mission.
When you see a volunteer, be sure to say thank you!
