Scheme Organized 2 weeks Clay Ganesha awareness Programme and distributed 146

Clay Ganesha Idols to the Faculty, Students and nearby village people and given them

awareness on Importance of Environment protection by eco-friendly ganesha.

i.e. Bathukamma is floral festival celebrated by the Hindu women of Telangana.

programme conducted by Dr.C.Veerender on 22nd December,2016 at somajiguda.

Anurag Group of Institutions, NSS has conducted Digital/Cashless Venkatapur

event on 23rd December, 2016 with a motto of making Venkatapur, the adopted village of

college a digital village. It is a 4 step procedure in which the first step is to conduct

training for the students, second step is to conduct survey in the village, third step is to

train the villagers by the students who got trained and the final step is to conduct an audit

through which we can know the count of digital users.

Anurag group of institutions –National Service Scheme has involved and

organized in the activity of “helping the orphanage” on 30-12-2016.A school

kit(books,pens,pencils and bag) was given to the students in the orphanage.

This community project was inaugurated by Malipedhi.Sudheer reddy –MLA

Medchal constituency and distributed the certificates to the website developed

students.As part of NSS community projects,NSS volunteers of AGI taken up to develop

the website for the Ghatkesar Press Club because Media is also one of the social cause

working to bring out the facts and information communicating to the society.

Anurag group of institutions, NSS Volunteers had participated in the National youth day

celebrations on 12-1-17. Total number of volunteers participated in the program was

32(Boys=16&Girls=14).The team was leaded was the coordinator B. Konal-IV year-Civil.

The chief guest was K.T.Rama Rao-IT Minister of Telangana. On this occasion rally and

an interactive session about Swami Vivekananda was conducted.

20. NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATIONS (R.K

MATH)

Anurag group of institutions –NSS Volunteers had participated in the University

Level Youth Festival conducted at JNTUH on 04-02-2017.The total number of

participants were 19(Boys=11 &Girls=8).Our Volunteers participated in many events like

Rangoli, Classical Dance, Solo Singing(folk),Essay writing, Quiz, Elocution, Debate,

Poster Presentation. Our college volunteers achieved the first prize in Group Dance and

Solo Singing (folk).Total 7 volunteers are selected for state level youth festival.

21. UNIVERSITY LEVEL YOUTH FESTIVAL-JNTUH

National service scheme conducted the Republic Day celebrations on 26-01-2017.Total

six events were conducted on the occasion of the Republic Day were Parade,Essay

Writing, Poster Presentation, Rangoli, Singing and Dancing.

22. REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS AT AGI-2017

National Service Scheme –Anurag Group of Institutions participated actively in the

Red Ribbon Club Program at Osmania University on 28-01-2017.Total number of

Participants were 2 (B.Konal-IV& R.Sunil Nayak-III).It was a session about Aids

Awareness and Importance of Blood Donation.

Convention Program at Peoples Plaza,Necklace Road on 17-02-2017. Total 76

(Boys=40&Girls=36) NSS Volunteers actively participated in the programme.
