appropriate contact on the Contact Us Tab.
ADULT BASIC EDUCATION (ABE) Adult Basic Education provides courses focused on reading, language, writing and math skills. These
courses provide Hoosiers the opportunity to pursue a GED Certificate of Achievement free of charge. Our
goal is to help adults gain the skills needed to pursue their career goals.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) English as a Second Language classes are designed to provide English language instruction to non-
English speaking adults. The courses provide information needed to understand and function in an
English-speaking culture.
EL/CIVICS This program helps individuals with limited English proficiency understand employment in Indiana.
Instruction may include career choice, in-demand job opportunities, governmental and educational
resources for employment and training.
ADULT SECONDARY CREDIT (ASC) This program provides students who did not finish high school with the opportunity to return as adults
and complete credits toward a regular high school diploma.
HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY (HSE)
High School Equivalency classes prepare students for the High School Equivalency exam, formerly known as the GED.
