October 11 2012 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN It gives us great pleasure to provide this character reference for Dallas Reeves of 43 Saville Street, Geneva NSW 2474 who was employed as a journalist at The Courier, Narrabri (bi-weekly) and The Wee Waa News (weekly) from June 2009 to January 2012. Dallas also contributed copy to our monthly glossy magazine, Namoi Valley Life, and to other specialist publications. Dallas was primarily a sports journalist while he was employed at The Courier, and was a very competent journalist across the spectrum of news, human interest and community-social subjects. He was a prodigious and timely producer of copy, which was always well written, comprehensive and accurate. Dallas was very much a self-starter, initiated stories and followed them up. He accompanied his stories with photos where relevant. Dallas works well under pressure, and is focused. He is talented yet modest and would be an asset in any business. His work ethic combined with his enthusiasm and skills make him a most desirable employee and we have no hesitation in recommending him. It is with deep regret that we farewelled Dallas from The Courier as he played an invaluable role in the business and was indeed a team player. We wish Dallas well and would be delighted to provide further information if required. _________________________________________ Ian Dunnet Editor/Proprietor _________________________________________ Wanda Dunnet Manager/Proprietor
