This study aimed to(1) get a high yield of onion

genotypes and disease resistant purple spots, (2) obtain morphology and physiology of the onion plant height, (3) assuming the value of common affinity and specific affinity number of genotypes of onion , (4) know the diversity and kinship of the offspring of red onion

Breeding methods usedWith suitable screening and

selection methods among a population having genetic variations. Onion is a biennial or perennial plant with loses his vigor when it is selfed

HybridizationThe wide hybridization can break

limits of species in some extent, promote genetic introgression and communication of different species, which are effective approaches to transfer useful characters to cultivated crops, to produce new species, to introduce alien gene and create variations

conclusionOnion is a plant that can grow in

low areas rather widely grown in Southeast Asia. The weakness of these plants if heavy rainfall is susceptible to disease and decay, and less production to meet market needs. so that, through plant breeding onion can be durable and not easily rot, and its production to meet market needs.
