Prologue

"I, Lucy Heartfilia, having been born of goodly parents,therefore I was taught somewhat in all the learning of my

mother; therefore, I make a record of my proceedings in mydays."

Lucy finishes writing on her journal this morning, after waking upand praying inside a small tavern. She closes her journal andlooks at the window. "I couldn't believe the crowds of people, thehustle and bustle and most of all the noise. Noise everywhere,assaulting my senses, beeping horns, shouts and screams ofpeople selling their wears. Uhhhh," she yawns. While stretchingher back, she accidentally bumped her head on the wood just afew centimeters above her head. The sudden shock that she feelsmakes her fall to the bed, asleep.

Five years had passed. Five lonely years. Now she is still alonewandering around another strange city, a city where no oneknows anything about her and no one is connected in any way toher.

Lucy was once a 17 year-old mage and one of the most popularmembers of Fairy Tail guild, a popular guild located in FioreKingdom. There were a lot of guilds in existence during that timeand those people were able to perform various forms of magic.Those who practice magic as a profession were referred to aswizards.

Wizards joined guilds where they shared information and

performed paid jobs for clients. Lucy, together with Natsu and theothers were happily living together and enjoying themselves whilethey did their jobs to earn money. They didn't earn much;however, they were still happy that they could help thecommoners of the kingdom and that they could enjoy companywith their friends, whom they considered as not just friends but

also siblings as if they were related by each other by blood.Money was not that important to them; the most important thingwas, they live happily as a family, not just as an ordinary guild.

However, something unexpected happened. Two preliminaryearthquakes with magnitudes of 7.2 and 6.3 struck off their city,the day before the major blow: This 8.9-magnitude quake-thelargest in Fiore's recorded history-struck at 4:45 pm local time onFriday, its epicenter located about 231 miles northeast of Alderaat a depth of 15 miles. Even after this large one, over fourtyaftershocks-the strongest measuring 7.1 in magnitude-continuedto batter the area. Thousands of people died, including her family,

the guild that she considered as her only family.

She is the only one left. Now that she turned 22, nothing muchhappened. She is still feeling the same sorrow that she felt, thesame pain that she experienced. She wishes that she shouldhave died then. At least she can be with her family at the very lastbreath of her life.

Wanting to forget everything, she walked away and traveled to

different parts of the world. At present, she is working as a travelwriter, completing manuscripts and submitting them to publisherswith no guarantee of acceptance.

Lucy walks out of the tavern at Karakura Town and starts anotherday of adventure. While walking, she writes.

"The clouds in the sky create a nice cool blanket from the hot sun.The sound from the vehicles and the people create a nice little

harmony that one could easily lay down and relax to. Massageplaces are pretty much everywhere. And scattered around thepark are huge oak trees. I can also see the-" she suddenly slipson the sidewalk. Her face is squeezed with mud. Children runtowards her. They don't notice her so they accidentally runthrough her from head to toe. She becomes more down and

disappointed with her misfortune. Her eyes look gloomy and full ofsorrow, but she stands calmly. The children continue runningaway from her. A group of teenagers are chasing them. Sheremains standing and observes what is going on.

Suddenly, she experiences an attack. It's the trauma again thatkeeps on haunting her every moment of her life. Her heart beatsfast. Her sweat is flowing from her head to her dirty cheeks. Hereyes seem to burst out of her face. Her hands are shaking. Theyare terribly shaking.

Something flashes inside her mind. She sees thousands ofpeople running for their lives, a huge fire devouring Fiore, amassive earthquake, and her friends dying. Her heart starts tobeat faster. Her head aches. Everything around her becomesdark and dull. Her whole body is trembling and she feels verydizzy. The earthquake is becoming stronger and stronger asseconds pass by.

"Hey miss! Are you alright! Hey! Hey!" Somebody shakes hershoulders. "Are you okay?"

"I'm feeling too much pain right now," Lucy responses. Her eyesare still shaking with fear.

"Yeah..you're bleeding," Rukia wipes her forehead. Lucy seessome blood.

"Huh...I never thought this would make my head bleed. I guessmy sickness is getting worse."

"What?! Do you mean your head is supposed to be as hard asthis stone? Come on let's run for our lives before those guys killus!"

"Who?"

Some guys are throwing stones at them for an unidentifiedreason.

Rukia grasps her hand and runs.

"Why are we running?"

"You ask?"

The guys continue following them. However, the two are able tolost them.

"Aha! We lost them!"

Lucy faints.

It is really sad to know that those members of Fairytail are gone.But are they gone for real? What if there are other people whosurvived the incident? What if they are also wandering aroundsomewhere just like what Lucy is doing right now?

Going to another side of the story, another sorrowful incident

happened inside the other city five years ago.

It was the city of Konoha.

"Drip..drop..drip..drop.." whispered Juvia to herself as she walkedat the rainy forest of Konoha. Good thing she was there when theearthquake occured in Fiore, because of that she was saved.Nevertheless, Lucy didn't know anything about it. She didn't knowthat some people are still breathing right now aside from her.

She went to Konoha during that time because she bought anexpensive magical perfume, a perfume that catches the heart of aman who will smell it. Those who would be able to get the scent ofit would be in love with the first person that he or she saw,according to the news that she heard. She went all her way from

Fiore to Konoha just to get that. And because of that, she wasreally happy. She would finally capture Gray's heart for sure.

While walking, she noticed a girl and a boy. The girl was crying.

She was hugging the boy from his back, as if she didn't want himto go. The boy was just standing with his head bowed and aclosed fist.

"Please Sasuke, don't go. Don't leave us. I need you, Sasuke.Forget revenge and live with the people of Konoha. Don't go toOrochimaru..Sasuke!" the crying girl mumbled. Juvia pitied thegirl. She could relate to what the girl was feeling right at thatmoment. She wanted to help her.

The boy faced the girl. He suddenly prepared his fist to hit thegirl's stomach. Juvia realized what the boy was going to do. Shedidn't want to see what will happen next. She tightly closed hereyes and unawarely blew some magic perfume towards the boy.

What did happen next? Did the boy fall for the girl after thatperfume was blown towards him? Was that perfume really

effective? What side effects did occur if there was any?

Chapter 1

The boy faced the girl. He suddenly prepared his fist to hit thegirl's stomach. Juvia realized what the boy was going to do. She

didn't want to see what will happen next. She tightly closed hereyes and unawarely blew some magic perfume towards the boy.

The smell of the perfume smoothly entered the boy's nose.Sasuke suddenly felt some strange feeling occuring inside hisbody. His emotions which were full of revenge and anger weredisappearing. Instead of hitting Sakura in her stomach, he tightlyhugged her.

This was really surprising. The scent of the magic perfume had aneffect on him.

Sakura was shocked of what Sasuke did. She didn't expect thatSasuke would hug her. Then suddenly, Sakura also receivedsome scent coming from the perfume.

However, instead of falling in love more and more with Sasukejust like she used to do, hate and remorse filled her whole body.Being surprised of what Sasuke did, she punched Sasuke'sstomach.

"You pervert! Why did you hug me?" says Sakura. Sasuke washolding his stomach because of pain.

"I HATE YOU SASUKE! GET LOST! I DON'T WANT TO SEEYOUR FACE EVER AGAIN!"

"But Sakura..I want to stay right here..with you." whisperedSasuke, still feeling the pain that Sakura gave him.

"IF YOU DIDN'T LEAVE RIGHT NOW...I'LL COUNT ONE TOTEN. AND THEN I'M GONNA TOTALLY BUST YOU UP UNTILMY LAST BREATH." Sakura felt really angry at that time for an

unidentified reason. This sudden change of emotions might be theeffect of Juvia's perfume.

It was not that effective after all. Maybe it was partly effective

because Sasuke fell in love with Sakura. However, Sakura startedto hate Sasuke. The one-sided love of Sakura for Sasuke turnedinto another one-sided love...a one-sided love of Sasuke forSakura.

"I won't go."

"ONE!"

"No."

"TWO!"

"Not by any chance." he said.

"I thought you're going to take revenge to your brother?!"

"Forget it. I changed my mind. You are far more important than

anybody else."

"I SAID...GO!"

"I SAID...NO!"

Sakura became more furious. She seemed like a tiger whichwould bring a terrifying shock and fear to its prey. She tried tostop her emotions and remained calm.

"Fine. If you don't want to go, then I'll go." said Sakura calmly.

Sasuke was surprised.

"No." said Sasuke.

"I'm getting pissed off. Tell me Sasuke. What do you want? Youalways say no to anything I say!"

"Fine. You can go now. But I'll follow you." said Sasuke.

"WHAT?!" said Sakura. She was really irritated because Sasukedidn't want to leave her.

"Okay..do what you want. That is...if you can follow me." Sakuraran as fast as she could. She left the city of Konoha just to beapart with Sasuke. The effect of the magic perfume gave her aweird reason to do such a foolish thing. What did happen to thelife that she left in Konoha?

Sasuke smirked. He had full confidence to himself that he wouldbe able to find Sakura no matter where she was.

Sakura reached a certain town called Karakura. She decided tostay there for a while since she hadn't seen Sasuke there yet.Seeing him made her really furious even though she didn't knowthe reason why was that so. Days passed. She became weak andhungry. She didn't know where to go anymore until someoneaccepted her and adopted her.

Sasuke was able to follow her to that town. He wanted to be withSakura so he also stayed there and visited her. Sakura kept onpushing him away, but Sasuke was persistent and Sakuracouldn't do anything about it. Five years had passed and she isstill living together with the Kurosaki Family, staying in that housewith that foolish reason strongly sticking to her mind. The effect of

the magic perfume still haven't worn out for so many years.

That is the reason why at present, the Kurosaki Family iscomposed of six members: Isshin Kurosaki, the head of thefamily; Ichigo Kurosaki, the eldest son; Karin and Yuzu Kurosaki,the fraternal twin sisters; Rukia Kuchiki, who is Ichigo's close

friend (She is secretly living inside Ichigo's room); and HarunoSakura, who is now considered a member of the family.

Chapter 2

A whole day passes. Lucy remains sleeping the whole day insidethe Kurosaki residence. Rukia and Ichgo are worried about her.

While Sakura is chopping the branch of a huge tree outside thehouse, Ichigo is cooking for lunch. The aroma of the chickenvegetable stew is reaching Lucy's nose.

"The chicken stew...smells good..." she says.

"She's waking up!!!" exclaims Rukia.

Lucy stands unconsciously. She starts walking lousily with her

arms forward.

Ichigo notices her and is quite surprised.

"My, my, look what we've got here! Haha!" Rukia laughs.

"I'm hungry," Lucy says softly. She kneels down and smells thefloor like a dog. Then she continues doing the baby walk until shereached the cabinet near Ichigo. "I want that stew..."

"It's nearly there! Turn to the left!" Rukia giggles.

She turns left and smells Ichigo's butt. Ichigo is shocked. His facebecomes red because of shame.

Rukia rolls on the floor because of laughter. Ichigo becomesirritated.

Lucy opens the cabinet. "The chicken stew..." She sees a verylarge soup of chicken stew in her dream, and she's going to get it.

"I got it..." she says.

Ichigo and Rukia is surprised that something is inside the cabinet.

"Sasuke!"

"What the heck are you doing here?!" shouts Rukia in anger.

"Why do you care? Mind your own business."

"Mind my wha- this is MY HOUSE!!! GET THE HECK OUTTAHERE!"

"It's not your house Rukia. IT'S MY HOUSE." utters Ichigo.

Lucy's face goes near Sasuke's. She continues to smell him and itseems that she's going to take a bite.

"Whaaa!" Sasuke runs away from her.

"The chicken is running away...don't leave..." Lucy runs after him,but is still unaware of what she's doing.

"Come on Sasuke, just a bite...why don't you give the beautifullady her request," teasingly says Rukia.

Sasuke keeps on avoiding her; however, Lucy becomes impatientso a sudden change of expression starts to show from her face.She drools.

"I'm gonna eat you...NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!!!" Shechases him vigorously.

"Wohoo that's my dog! Go eat him!" shouts Rukia.

"Tsk." says Sasuke. He punches her because of annoyance. Lucyfalls on the floor.

Ichigo sighs.

She gradually opens her eyes.

The fun is over. Rukia immediately goes in front of Lucy. Ichigoobserves what will happen next.

"Where am I?"

"RRRAAAAARRRRR!"

"Aaaahhhh!!!" She screams.

"Yo! How are you now? You've been sleeping the whole day so Iguess you may want this," she offers her a bunch of squarewatermelons.

Lucy puts her finger inside her mouth. "...chicken stew..."

"WOULD YOU STOP THAT!!!" Ichigo holds his forehead and isdisgusted.

There is silence.

"I just want to welcome her in this house," says Rukia. She smilesat Lucy. On the other hand, Lucy doesn't notice Rukia's presence

anymore because she is loves trucked at Ichigo. Ichigo lookshandsome. His sensuous and radiant brown eyes capture everynerve in her mind. He is about a head taller than her, has orangehair, and his face is beautiful. He is wearing a school uniform withan apron because he is cooking at the moment.

Rukia notices her reaction.

"My, my, what are you doing? Daydreaming about my brother?"

Rukia teasingly asks her.

"Hey! What are you saying?! I'm not your brother!" utters Ichigo.

Rukia goes near him and whispers . "Just watch. I just want totest her if she has a crush on you."

Lucy feels shy.

"A-n-no..."

"Aha! Just as I thought!"

Ichigo suddenly throws a backpack to Rukia. It hits Rukia's head.She falls on the ground.

"Tss. The people here are so irritating." says Sasuke. He goesoutside the house.

"Whatever." mumbles Rukia.

"Oh! Come on Rukia, we'll be late! I didn't notice that it's already 7am in the morning!" Ichigo hurriedly goes out of the house.

"Hey! You still have something to pay! Why did you throw mybackpack to my head?!"

Rukia rushly wears her backpack and goes near the front door.She suddenly stops and waves her hand.

"See you later pal," says Rukia to Lucy.

"Hey Ichigo! Wait for me!" The two speedily run to school.

Chapter 3

Lucy is left inside the house, speechless. She steps out of bedand looks around her. The bright and cozy house seems to have

it all: a delightful contemporary design, function and an overallwelcoming atmosphere. It is a place that exudes peace andtranquility. She walks towards the living room. The living room is abright and social space with openness to both the kitchen andsleeping area. Large glass walls dissolve the border betweeninside and outside allowing natural light to reign.

"No one is here, except me."

"They left me here, alone?"

"Alone..." that word continuously repeats itself inside her mind.She remembered what happened 5 years ago. Her surroundingsare dark and scary. Fire devours the whole city. People areasking for help but no one is coming to rescue them. Her headaches. She feels dizzy so she kneels on the floor and holds herhead. She sweats while crying. She runs as fast as she could.

Suddenly, a bright light passes through her eyes and she regainsher consciousness.

She walks outside the house. She becomes astonished of theview in front of her. The place where she is located now is on topof a mountain. It is cold, high, and scenic. One can see theabundance of flowers, lots of trees, dramatic limestone outcropsand beautiful views down the valley.

She sighs. "So, it's just a dream again..." She takes out herjournal from her pocket and starts to write so that she can forgetthat sorrowful experience that always disturbs her peace of mind.She concentrates on the beautiful view in front of her to cover thedreadful scene that happened to her a few years ago.

"Just like the anonymous Japanese writer who wrote, This is theplace which is not much major, and is the place of theatmosphere which was very quiet and settled down. It was theplace which builds poetry for the beautiful yard with a view calmly

from ancient times. I look at the trees of the yard calmly. It is ahappy moment. One poetry was not made by my head, either.Silent poetry...It was the best poetry for me."

While observing, something huge falls in front of her. She isshocked.

"Oops! Sorry," a voice comes above the roof of the house. It isHaruno Sakura, the adopted girl of Isshin Kurosaki, who iscurrently staying inside Kurosaki Residence. She is currentlychopping a large branch of a tree which is almost attached to theirhouse.

"The tree here has overgrown so I have to chop some of itsbranches." Sakura wipes her sweaty face with her towel.

"I see."

Sakura jumps from the roof. "How do you feel right now?"

"Well, I feel good now. Thanks for letting me stay here."

"Don't thank me. Thank Rukia." Sakura carries the branch in herleft shoulder. She looks at Lucy. "Will Isshin adopt you too...justlike what he did to me?" she asks her politely.

"Isshin. Who is he?" asks Lucy.Sakura's inner self becomes irritated. "Who the heck is this girl?

And she even doesn't know who the head of the house is! Eer...Idon't know..but my blood is starting to boil when I saw her in thefirst place. I have a feeling that she might ruin our lives here." shemumbles inside her mind. She is somewhat annoyed but she

doesn't show what she truly feels right now; instead, she smiles ather.

"I said...who is Isshin?" asks Lucy for the second time.

"I'M NOT DEAF YOU..YOU..WHATEVER!" utters Sakura insideher mind. She cannot think of any bad word to describe Lucy.Lucy is a blonde, tall, charming and sexy woman afterall.

"He's the owner of the house. He adopted me 5 years ago. Inreturn, I am doing the best that I can to help their family. Maybeyou should do the same." says Sakura. The fake smile appearsfrom her face again.

"Don't just stand there and write on that stupid notebook." sheirritatingly says inside her mind.

"Stupid?! This is not stupid!" Lucy shows her journal in front ofSakura's face. "This notebook provides me food and money thatgives me another day to live! You don't have the right to insult mewith my notebook!" says Lucy inside Sakura's mind. She can'tbelieve that she is already hallucinating and she is daydreamingabout Lucy sprouting and talking inside her brain. She shakes herhead.

"Ahm...what's going on? Are you okay?" asks Lucy.

"Yeah..I'm fine. I'm better than best! Hahahahahaha!" she says.

"I'm Lucy. Who are you anyway?"

"THE HECK WITH THAT. SHE DID'NT EVEN KNOW MY NAME!GRRRR!" another mind talk comes again from Sakura.

"I'm Haruno Sakura. Nice to meet you."

Lucy smiles. "Nice to meet you too."

"By the way, I've got to do something else. So see you later!HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" says Sakura. She enters the house whilelaughing out loud.

While walking inside the house, Sakura notices a guy standingbeside the wall with a crossed arms and a cool-looking face. It isSasuke, the man who has been following her for so long. Hehasn't been tired of tailing her after that weird incident thatoccurred five years ago.

It was all Juvia's fault. Because of her, their love story turnedupside down. Imagine that? A member of Fairytail Guild could ruinthe plot inside Naruto's world if ever they met in the real life? Butofcourse that's impossible, except from this story.

"Yo." he says.

"Hey you! How many times do I have to tell you that you are notallowed to see my wonderful existence every morning?!" Sakuraboastfully shouts to Sasuke.

"Tss." Sasuke turns his head away from her.

"And you are intruding our house!"

"I'm free to do what I want." he says coldly. He walks towardsSakura with his hands inside his pockets. Sasuke looks at hereyes seriously.

They glance at each other for a little while without hearing a word

from any of them. Sakura becomes stunned. Sasuke's eyes arereally wonderful. His white complexion and beautiful face isabsolutely mesmerizing. His black and strikingly cool hair almostcaptures her heart until she finally realizes the awkward situationthat they are having right now.

Sakura suddenly punches his face that he is thrown at the otherside of the house. Sasuke feels dizzy while lying on the floor.

"Hey! Who told you to sleep here?! Shocks...my beauty becomes

wasted because of you. All my life, I wanted to be...a princess,with a beautiful dress, and a handsome prince...who will dancewith me in the most important day of my life! HAHAHAHAHA!"she daydreams. She totally forgot that the guy who is in front ofher now is the one that she had been dreaming of since she wasa kid.

"Then be my princess."

"No thanks." she mumbles.

Oh, how sorry she would be if ever the 'normal Sakura' is hearingwhat she is saying right now. She is letting the opportunity beblown away with the wind.

Lucy remains standing while observing them.

"Hey you!" Sakura points her finger to Lucy.

Lucy looks at Sakura.

"Oh! I TOTALLY FORGOT! I SHOULD BE NICE IN FRONT OFHER." Sakura talks inside her mind. She almost shouted at Lucy.

"Hi...LUCY..." Sakura says while smiling.

Lucy smiles at her.

"Follow me." sas Sakura.

"Hai." Lucy answers.

The two enters the kitchen. Breakfast is ready. Ichigo prepared itbefore going to school. The aroma of the chicken vegetable stewreaches her nose for the second time. Lucy's stomach feelsempty and it makes growling noises.

"Please sit." Sakura says nicely.

"Hai."

Lucy sits on the chair opposite to Sakura. She remains silent.Sakura puts her elbows in the table and lays her chin on herfingers which connects both of her hands.

"Please eat."

"Hai!"

"I can't belive it. Do I have to say everything that she has to do?"says Sakura inside her mind. Her mind talk stuff is working a lotthis day.

The two finish eating their breakfast when Sakura notices

something beside the kitchen sink.

"A bento. Could Ichigo possibly leave his bento? Poor Ichigo,Rukia only realized to bring only hers...whew. I guess I have tobring it there then." says Sakura. She stands and collects thedishes. She plans on going to school after dishwashing.

"Uhm, I can give him the bento...if you would allow me," Lucysays shyly.

"Why?! Do you know this place?! Do you know their school?! Doyou know how to go there?!" she mindtalks again.

"How nice of you. Hehe. But I'm kinda worried. Are you familiarwith the location of their school? You might get lost on your way."

Chapter 4

"How nice of you. Hehe. But I'm kinda worried. Are you familiarwith the location of their school? You might get lost on your way."

says Sakura.

"Uhm..I'm a traveler and I've been in Karakura Town for 6 months.I guess I can go to Karakura University if I'm not wrong, since thisschool is the one nearest to this mountain." says Lucy.

"Great. I guess you won't be lost. Do as you wish." Sakura putsthe dishes on the sink. She gives the bento to Lucy.

"Thanks." Lucy smiles and runs outside the house. She goes toKarakura University, which is just 500 meters away from the footof the mountain.

Sakura sighs as a sign of annoyance. Her eyes seem that she isworried about something.

Lucy enters the Karakura University to deliver the bento(lunchbox) to Ichigo. Karakura University, formerly known as

Karakura High School five years ago, is now an extraordinaryschool unlike before. It is currently a school which is mainlycomposed of abnormally large amount of spiritually awarestudents and captains that originated from soul society (alsoknown as the spirit world). Before, the said school was just anormal school containing normal teenagers. However, the timecame when the number of people with strong spiritual energycontinued to increase, thus the number of hollows (monsters) and

other bad beings in existence also increased. Wanting to protectthe land of the living, the government under the soul society sentsome of the captains to the human world in order to guide andtrain the students about some defensive and offensive attacksagainst their enemies.

"Oh, you came here just for this?" says Ichigo.

"Uhm...Yeah..." says Lucy. She bows her head as a sign ofembarassment.

"Thanks." says Ichigo. He noticed something on Lucy's hand. Itlooks like the wings of a fairy with a tail.

"Hey Lucy, what's that on your hand? It looks so familiar to me."says Ichigo. Lucy is surprised. Hope arises from her heart.

"Really?! When did you see this symbol? Who has the same markwith mine?! Please tell me!" she utters.

"I just...can't remember. Sheesh, I'm sorry Lucy." says Ichigo.

"You know what? This," she shows him her hand, "this is thesymbol of family and friendship. This has been a great part of mylife until...until..." Lucy's alive expression becomes sad andgloomy. She's trying to stop her tears from flowing out of hereyes.

"It's alright. You don't have to tell me more about it." says Ichigo.

"Thanks." Lucy becomes shy and her cheeks become red.

"Don't you realize something Ichigo?" Rukia suddenly appears infront of them. The two are surprised.

"Don't just sprout anywhere Rukia!" says Ichigo. Rukia closes hereyes and holds her chin.

"I think that Lucy has a crush on you." says Rukia.

"What are you saying?!" he says irritatingly. That is the last thingthat he wants to hear from anybody. Besides, he is not interested

Instead of spreading the news about the blondegirl (Lucy) having a crush on Ichigo, he says that Ichigo has acrush on Rukia in order to put Ichigo away from Lucy. Before, hewas interested to Rukia. A sorrowful memory flashes inside hermind. She renders senseless, remembering what happened fiveyears ago. She sees a huge fire devouring Fiore, a massive

earthquake during that night with the bloody color of that moon,and her friends dying. Her heart starts to beat faster.

Ichigo suddenly stops. He notices Lucy. "Hey Lucy, what's goingon? Are you ok?"

Lucy clears her mind. "Yeah..hehe..well..I better leavenow..a..I..guess you'll be late for your class so..see you later."Lucy laughs hesitantly while walking away.

Ichigo observes Lucy as she walks away. He notices that there'ssomething weird going on with Lucy. He becomes worried.

It's already evening inside Kurosaki's residence. Lucy is writingsome manuscripts about Karakura Town for the upcomingpublication of one of the town's magazines. Sakura hasn't arrivedyet when Lucy returns from school to deliver the bento to Ichigo.

She looks outside the window and sees a beautiful view togetherwith the cold blue moon. Lights of different colors and tall towerscan be seen from the top of the mountain. The place is so quietthat only the sound of the crickets can be heard. "What a niceview...that's why I decided to create manuscripts here, becausethis place is so attractive."

She continues to write when she hears a sudden noise coming

from behind the trees and plants. She becomes curious so shewalks out of the house to see what is going on. Nobody's homeaside from her so she she thinks that she should be the oneresponsible for anything that might occur.

It is so dark at the garden that she can hardly see anything. "Ibetter be prepared if anything happens. This is bad. No one ishere except me. Anyway, I will do my best to protect this house!"she says to herself. She puts her hand on her waist, preparing to

take her magical keys from her belt. Those keys serve as herpersonal protection whenever an enemy attacks her.

The wind blows harder and the atmosphere becomes colder. Lucylooks at the sky. Her eyes enlarge because of fear. The moonchanges its color from blue to red.

It was believed by the people from ancient times that when themoon in the sky turns bloody red in color, something terrible willhappen. It might have an effect to only one person who sees it, orthere may be certain cases when the whole community of acertain place become affected at the same time. She haveresearched about that scenario for many years from differentplaces while having her journey as a travel writer. However, she

haven't discovered the reason why this is happening until nowand who or what is the reason of its occurrence. Is this the workof the legendary black wizard Zeref? Is there any more blackwizards or enemies involved? Are they really the cause of it orthere's something else? Those questions keep on entering hermind.

Suddenly, her heart starts to beat faster. The same terrifiedfeelings awaken from her mind again. The huge fire accompanied

by tremendous earthquake devour their whole kingdom. Peopleask for help but no one comes to rescue them. Even though sheis a mage, she can't do anything about it either. Fairytail cannotdo anything about it. People die. Loud screams are heardeverywhere. It becomes painful to her ears so she covers themtightly, kneels on the ground and screams. Tears keep rollingdown on her cheeks.

"It was told that when the red moon appears in the sky, a dreadfulevent must happen." Rukia suddenly appears beside her. Lucylooks at her but her emotions doesn't calm even a bit. She criesopenly and looks at the ground with a feeling of losing hope.

It is raining on Karakura Town because of a suddenannouncement of a typhoon in the area. Juvia is currently walking

on the streets while looking for her love, Gray. It has been 5 yearsbut she hasn't found him yet. She believes that Gray is still alivedespite of the fact that Fiore was destroyed 5 years ago.

"Where are you, Gray-sama? No matter how long we becomeseparated and how far we are from each other, my love for youwill always stay the same until the end of my breath." she

continues to walk.

Meanwhile, Ichigo and the others are currently staying insideKarakura University while Sakura and Lucy are staying insidetheir house. It's almost one o'clock in the afternoon and they have

just finished eating their lunch.

"Hey Ichigo, it's a good thing that Lucy brought your lunch withyou yesterday, or else you will be starving until those afternoonclasses," says Rukia. "She's kind, right?"

"Why do you always talk about her?!" says Ichigo. Inoue and Uryucoughs pretensiously. They can feel the jealous aura that isflowing inside the classroom. Rukia becomes irritated so she justshuts her mouth up.

Most of the people that arerebelling come from that city which was once productive but isnow barren due to the effect of the curse brought about by the red

moon.

Lucy and Ichigo sit on a red sofa inside the office. Lucy finds itdifficult to become calm, so she starts breathing deeply in andout.

"Hey, hey," says Natsu surprisingly. He is starting to feel awkwardas Lucy hugs him. Lucy slowly removes herself from embracinghim.

short, spiked white hair. He wears a sleeveless standard captain'shaori with a green sash around his shoulders, held together by around, star-like clip. "I WANT TO BUST YOU UP RIGHT NOW!You're getting into my nerves!" mumbles Natsu.

"Shut up! And don't call me a kid! I'm CAPTAIN TOSHIROHITSUGAYA, captain of the 10th Division in Gotei 13! Learn torespect your superiors!"

"Superior! I should be the one who's superior! You're just a kid!"mumbles Natsu. Toshiro is getting pissed off but he's trying tocontrol his temper because it will become a bad image toeveryone if a captain like him fights a student of KarakuraUniversity.

Toshiro sighs. "Whatever. I shouldn't waste my time to someonelike you who's appearance is really for adults yet acts more

childish than me."

"What did you say?!"

"Natsu!" Lucy suddenly comes and goes near Natsu. She feels soexcited to see him. Toshiro walks away.

"HEY! DON'T ESCAPE! YOU'RE AFRAID TO FIGHT ME HUH?!"shouts Natsu. Toshiro suddenly stops walking. He slowly looks

back.

"Let's see who's better. We're going to have a duel battle later inmy class. I guess you should prepare yourself, old man."

"Whatever! I'm coming!" Natsu runs towards Toshiro whilepreparing his attack."Kary no Tekken!" Natsu tries to punch himwhile his fist is being enveloped by a fire. The fire increases hispunch's destructive power. However, Toshiro effortlessly dodgeshis attack while preparing his Zanpakuto.

"Hyorinmaru..rain over the frosted heavens!" Toshiro's sword

extends slightly in length, and gains a crescent-shaped bladeattached to its hilt by a long metal chain, which extends greatly byHitsugaya's force. The chain alone is used by him to attack Natsu.It is able to hit Natsu so he suddenly falls on the ground,unconscious.

"Told ya." says one of the students.

Inoue is preparing to attack. She holds her hairclips. She runs fasttowards Lucy and is collecting energy.

"Koten Zanshun!" Inoue's incantation summons Tsubaki, who

forms a thin barrier on either side of himself that cuts throughLucy like a sword.

"Gate of the bull, I open thee! Tau-" Lucy is not able to call thecelestial spirit because she is thrown away due to Inoue's attack.Her body slides fastly on the ground.

"Hey Lucy, are you alright?" asks Inoue.

"See? She's a weakling." students look down upon her and mockher.

"Karakura University shouldn't have weak students like them."

"Yeah right. Natsu and Lucy should be together. They're bothlosers anyway! Hahaha!"

Lucy becomes ashamed. "This is so embarrasing," she bows her

head and runs away. Her mind keeps on reminding her how thestudents look at them, as if they're different. They even insultNatsu even if he has become their classmate for many years.

Loke bends his right arm with his clenched fist pointed toward thesky. He grabs his bicep with his left hand. "Oh Regulus, grant meyour strength!" A vast amount of light is collected within his fist.He suddenly projects the energy toward the monster.

The monster is thrown away outside the building. The wall of thehall is destroyed. However, it seems that the monster is not hurteven a little. Lucy and Loke are both surprised.

"Tsk. It's too strong." mumbles Loke. The monster is going for itssecond attack and is preparing to go back to the building. Lokeruns toward it for hand-to-hand combat but someone suddenlyblocks his way.

"Huh," utters Loke surprisingly.

"Inoue..why?" mumbles Lucy. Inoue stretches her hand sideways.It seems that she's going to protect the monster from the two ofthem.

"Please..don't." utters Inoue.

"But why?! The people are in great danger!" says Lucy. Themonster runs toward them but just jumps through Inoue. It doesnot hurt her. Instead, it focuses on attacking Loke. Loke is thrownto the other side of the hall and is badly hurt. He is not able to

counter its attack because Inoue is blocking the way.

"Loke!" shouts Lucy. The monster starts to run towards Lucy thistime. Lucy is strucked with fear. She doesn't know what to doanymore. No one will be able to help her right now.

Someone suddenly runs for Lucy's rescue. He hugs her and takesher away.

"Natsu!" utters Lucy. People are still screaming because the

monster that enters the ball room starts to destroy everything.

Natsu whistles to get the cat's attention. The cat looks at themand starts to chase them. "Com'on!" Natsu grasps Lucy's hand.They both jump through the window and roll on the ground.Natsu's body is hurt. He tried to stand. The cat continues to runtowards them and is preparing to attack them. Lucy pulls Natsu'shand.

"Let's run! Natsu!" they continue to run toward the forest. Themonster keeps on following them. They run for a long time.However, they are not able to notice that there is a ravine aheadof them.

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!" they fall to the ravine. Fortunately, Lucy isable to land in a small, flat surface while Natsu is able to hold ontosomething to prevent him from falling. The monster looks for them

but it seems that it is not able to see them below the ravine. Itstarts to leave.

Natsu and Lucy sigh as a sign of relief. Then, they both look downand suddenly realize how dark and deep it is below if they fallfurther. Their eyes enlargen because of shock.

"Lucy!!! Are you alright?" asks Natsu, who is currently locatedbelow her.

"I'm fine Natsu," says Lucy as she looks below. "Come, I'm gonnahelp you." Lucy is currently standing on a small, flat surface belowthe ravine. Below that flat surface is another flat surface whereinshe will be able to reach Natsu if ever she stretches her handtowards him. Lucy starts to step down carefully. It's so dangerous

If we analyze thesituation carefully, Byakuya has been assigned as the newpresident of the university, meaning he now has some authorityunder the Karakura Security Organization. The organization isplanning to sent some armies to attack Konoha because of somerebelious group that is rumored to originate from the saidvillage...and so a great battle between Karakura and Konoha willoccur. What if Sakura uses Rukia against Byakuya Kuchiki inorder to take control of the decision of the organization andprevent the war? Rukia and Byakuya are siblings, right? I'm sureByakuya will be really affected if ever something bad happens tohis sister," says Lucy.

The two enters Karakura camp. It's a place located near theschool building. They hold a meeting there every Saturday todiscuss important matters regarding the security of the city. Thecamp is composed of two floors. The upper floor is for themeeting of the council and the lower floor serves as a trainingground for the people. It's a little dark at this moment and a dimlight from the outside is just coming through the glass window.Lucy and Ichigo think that Rukia is in that place because she usedto stay there during school hours.

"Where is Byakuya?" a voice is heard from somewhere. It seemsthat he's talking to somebody in a low tone.

shouts Rukia as she is hanging above them.

"No! I can't leave you like this," says Ichigo. "Tch."

Lucy looks at the sky through the window. The moon is starting toturn into its bloody red color. "The red moon...it's appearing," shesays.

Rukia's heartbeat becomes louder and faster. Her body starts to

feel weird. "AAAHHH!" She screams out loud.

"What's going on?! Rukia! " shouts Lucy.

"Two bodies will be used and combined for a sacrifice. This isOrochimaru's curse that was brought in Karakura. This is thecurse of the red moon," mumbles Sasuke. Rukia continues toscream because of the terrible pain that she feels inside her body.

"Rukia!" says Ichigo.

Rukia suddenly disappears. Lucy sees a different person hangingup there in front of Sasuke.

bloody and terrifying. Then Karakura faced a terrible battle with acertain city, Konoha. Fortunately, they won the battle. However, acertain man named Orochimaru left a curse to this city before heleaves- that is, he will use two strong beings and combine themtogether for a sacrifice. The two bodies have fused. Natsu, having recovered a little from what he has experienced awhile ago, joined Inoue and the others in fighting against Sasuke."Kary no Hk!" However, hesuddenly coughs that's why he fails to produce his fire.

A huge thing runs through the doorway. It is dark outside so it'sdifficult to know what it really is. All they can hear is its furrybreathing. Suddenly, a huge, orange cat with nine tails is seen infront of them.

"That monster again?!" shouts Lucy.

"Finally! We've got some back up," says Natsu happily. Sasuke issurprised to see the giant monster. He is not expecting that his

pet will intrude the place at this moment. All of a sudden, it attackshim and its strong, sharp claws on forepaws try to catch him.However, Sasuke is able to dodge from its attack. He can'tbelieve that the monster is attacking its own master. After that, it

jumps to the second floor very quickly to attack the enemies. Itseems like it is stunning its prey. The people become terrified. Itspowerful jaws with sharp teeth are supposed to deliver a quick,killing blow to them but it just roars to frighten them. They run

away for their lives. Nobody is left except for Natsu, Inoue, Ichigo,Lucy and Sasuke.

The cat walks towards Lucy and looks directly into her eyes. Itseems that it is going to devour her. It shows its large fangs and isgoing to attack her, but it suddenly stops and walks away. Itseems that it is just controlling its bad temper towards the girl.

"KYAA! That monster is really angry with me!" screams Lucy.

"Thanks for coming, Sakura!" says Natsu to the cat.

"Sakura?" mumbles Lucy. She becomes confused why Natsucalled the cat 'Sakura.'

Sakura, in the form of a giant cat, walks towards Sasuke. Sasukekneels on the floor with his head bowed down because ofdisappointment and sorrow. He and Sakura planned everything in

the first place to prevent Byakuya from becoming the president ofthe organization. At first, Sakura thought that she can take it, thatshe can let Rukia's life be at risk for the sake of Konoha. She'swilling to sacrifice everything for her friends and family. However,it seems that Sakura abandoned the plan, thus leaving Sasukealone. His body feels weak as Sakura approaches him.
