ANNUAL RECYCLING PERMITS:

Welcome to the Town Recycle Center and Transfer Station from the Town of Wappinger Clerk’s Office & the Town Highway offices: We at the Town Clerk’s office are once again offering the option to purchase your annual Re-cycle Center Permit by mail and at the Clerk’s Office at Wappinger Town Hall 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 If you choose to purchase by mail, simply send us: A) COPY OF YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE

Note: If your license contains a PO Box # you must send in addition, a copy of your electric/cable bill, or proof of Town of Wappinger residency - other than your tax receipt - as the Center is for residents, NOT landlords.

B) COPY OF EACH CAR’S REGISTRA-TION you are requesting a permit for. Note: There is a 2 car limit and the license MUST match the registration.

C) CHECK OR MONEY ORDER made paya-ble to the “Town of Wappinger” for one of the following amounts:

The cost for seniors = $50 if born in 1959 or later, and $30 if born in 1958 or earlier. Please write your mailing address on your check if different from your check address.

Garbage tickets can be purchased by mail as well by annual permit holders. The price is $10/book of 5 for seniors and $20/book of 5 for all other residents.

If you have a trailer you would like to haul recycling materials with, you will need your vehicle permit PLUS a trailer sticker. Sin-gle axles are $15/year and double axles are $25 and can be purchased with your annual permit by including a copy of your trailer registration.
