Rectangle Quilt Block and Quilt  

Cut Using 2.5 inch strip die for the Accuquilt GO Or 

Rotary Cutter and Ruler  

This block is made entirely of 2.5 inch strips and can be made using the full width of fabric (WOF) or fat quarters.  

Step 1: For color 1 and color 2, cut a 6.5 inch strip across the WOF. For Color 3, cut a 10.5 inch strip across the WOF.  

Step 2: Take the 6.5 inch strips and the 10.5 inch strips and cut them into 2.5 inch strips.  

a. Using the Accuquilt GO strip die, accordion fold the 6.5 inch and 10.5 inch strips across the die, cover with the mat, and cut. 

b. Using a rotary cutter, stack the 6.5”/10.5” strips and cut into 2.5 inch strips. 

Step 3: Piece according to the diagram below.

Color 1 Center Rectangle Piece A  1  2.5”x 6.5”  20 

Color 2 Inner Ring Piece A  4  2.5”x 6.5”  80 

Color 3 Outer Ring Piece B  4  2.5”x 10.5”  80 

 

Finished Block Size: 10 inches x 14 inches 

 

 Finished Lap Quilt Size with a 2 inch finished border and binding: 

56 inches x 62 inches
