Part 1: Proofreading

Overview:

The purpose of this part of the assignment is to test your ability to proofread paragraphs of text for errors in spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, and usage.

Instructions: There are 15 issues in the below three paragraphs of text. Using the Text Highlight Color tool, highlight these 15 issues as you identify them. Note your task is not to rewrite the paragraphs of text. If completing this exercise in printed form, use the margin or the space between lines of text to indicate how you would correct the error. Otherwise, add comments or Tracked Changes to indicate the changes you would make. Exercise____/15Many people experience firsthand how spending to much time at work can negatively impact their personal life. conversely, being pulled by too many demands from home can make it hard to concentrate on work. Whether there's too much focus on work, or too little, when your work life and your personnel life feel out of balance, the results is stress. Feeling out of balance is hard to except.

Having a healthy work/life balance is important, and the balances that's right for you won't necessarily be right for your coworker. And it may not be right for you next year either. Anyone can create a different idea of what the perfect work/life balance should be. But it will inevitably be a dynamic concept, since it has to change many times throughout life, as the circumstances of life and work change. With an internal centre that is, when people fell in control they have a sense of well-being. A person with an internal center of control tend to work hard and persevere to get what they want. In general, people with an internal center of control engage in activities that will improve there situation and develop their knowledges, skills, and abilities.

When you begin to assess your work-life balance, your really analyzing whether you have an acceptable share of time between your needs and those of the others around you. Of course, you need to do this for your work life and your private life, or you won't be able to find the right balance for you at this time in your life. One of the most important aspects of work/life balance are that you'll be able to get the most out of every aspect of your lifePart 2: Analyzing videos and describing their teachingsOverviewThe purpose of this part of the assignment is to test your ability to analyze a video and write text describing the learning objective of the video and the key steps the instructor took to arrive at that objective.
