RECREATING THE
APPEAL OF NATURAL
STONE SINCE 1926

Forticrete Walling Stone has a history that cannot be replicated, having provided a cost-effective alternative to natural stone since the nineteen twenties.
The Forticrete Anstone and Shearstone Ranges offer a choice of
the three most popular types of natural stone fi nish.
SPLIT – the most cost-effective type of fi nish for housing and
landscaping projects throughout Britain.
PITCHED – a rugged effect, in which each block has a raised
centre, is typical of quarry dressed stone.
COTTAGE – a rough, irregular shape which replicates stone
traditionally walled in its natural quarried state.
When these options are combined with carefully selected colour
ranges, Anstone and Shearstone give you the ability to match the
regional vernaculars throughout the UK.
Both Anstone and Shearstone products are available in
Standard colour Ranges and the enhanced Premier range, which
provides yet further colour options combined with an appearance
and weathering qualities that are almost indistinguishable from
natural stone. All of the products are through-coloured, and may
be dressed on site to suit individual requirements, while retaining
the original colour and texture. In addition to the standard colour
ranges, Forticrete also has the facility to manufacture non-
standard colours to meet specifi c needs.

ANSTONE products match many of the natural building stones
predominant in Britain. Olde Heather Black, for instance, is an
excellent match for varieties of weathered Pennine Sandstone,
whereas Regency™ Buff and Olde Heather Gold correspond to the
Yorkshire Sandstones. The Buff, Black Old Weathered and Brown
Old Weathered are often chosen to complement the Scottish
natural stones.
