According to John Grant the old adage about the importance of first impressions isappropriate for home sellers.

"Sensory stimuli such as noise and small can be powerful emotional triggers and buyerscould react negatively to "features" that are not even "fixtures" of the home," John Grantsaid. "While you won't want to change the curtains just because they may not appeal toeveryone, hyperactive dogs or loud music are inexpensive to keep to a minimum.
