Institute of Management Technology, established in 1980, has

• Chakravyuh– A 72-hour non-stop inter B-school

sports festival, featuring tournaments in Football, Cricket,

Badminton and Volleyball to Basketball, Table Tennis and

virtual games. It is one of the most awaited and strongly

contested inter B-School event in the country.

• PASSION– The annual management cum cultural festival

of IMT Ghaziabad. It is a holistic event that continues

nonstop for a period of 3 days. It is a memorable

The full time courses at IMT are compulsorily residential. Thus, the interaction between thestudents from various parts of the

country in itself provides valuable educational inputs. The campus is spread over more than 14 acres of sprawling lush green lawns

and provides an ambient atmosphere most conducive to learning. Learning beyond the classroom is extended to an amphitheatre

on campus, set amidst a botanical garden. Facilities have been provided for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games to keep

students physically and mentally fit. To develop entrepreneurship and decision-making skills, along with team spirit amongst

students, at IMT, the students are encouraged to participate in a wide spectrum of activities. Apart from that there are several

The PGDM (Executive) Program

PGDM (Executive) programme of IMT Ghaziabad is a Full Time AICTE approved 15 months specialized residential course for

working professionals which provides diverse learning opportunities in a short span.

The Executive Program is currently rated 8th in the country by CNBC TV18 2012 survey.

“The world over, executive MBA programs have become very successful at giving a new direction to mid-career executives. So it is

with IMT’s executive PGDM. It comprises a set of experienced executives from diverse verticals and functions. But they are all united

by a desire to excel in the corporate world” says Dr. Rajendra Nargundkar, Senior Dean- Academics at IMT. The course enhances

their analytical and decision making skills so that they can efficiently deal with various aspects of business and handle the roles and

responsibilities of senior management effectively.

sELECTIoN CRITERIA

IMT has one of the most rigorous selection processes for

selecting candidates from all over the country, for its niche

PGDM (Executive) program. Candidates are short listed for

group discussion and interview on the basis of their latest

GMAT or CAT score or the IMT Entrance test conducted

in seven major cities across India. Past work experience,

academic performance and extra curricular achievements also

count. The candidates are evaluated for leadership potential

and management capability through group discussion and

personal interview.

LEARNING METHoDoLoGy

The PGDM (Executive) program at IMT consists of much more

than theory - hands-on experience lets students put into

practice the lessons learned in class. In IMT, the learning model

encompasses a broad ground of concepts with case studies

and real life projects. Apart from this, seminars, simulations

and group projects are incorporated to hone students’

learning and management skills to peak performance levels.

Students have maximum flexibility in choosing electives across

streams, regardless of their specialization, allowing them the

satisfaction of studying subjects that interest them beyond the

core course.

With IMT Ghaziabad’s campus near the Delhi NCR region,

students have extensive and regular interaction with industry

leaders - a definite enrichment of the educational process.

A 15-month course, IMT’s PGDM (Executive) programme

features 12 months in class and three months working in

industry, gaining valuable real-life experience.

In addition, IMT focuses on student exchange programmes

with reputed B-schools worldwide, enabling students to

develop cross-cultural insights and perspectives and better

understand global business.
