What’s new in training . . . .
• Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) – Suicide first-aid intervention skills training. These skills can be used to help prevent the immediate risk of suicide. ASIST is a two-day, hands-on, practice-oriented, immersion experience that helps caregivers become ready, willing and able to do suicide first-aid interventions.
• Master Resiliency Training (MRT) – The MRT program will teach Soldiers and civilians how to strengthen themselves which in turn will strengthen relationships with family, friends and co-workers leading to a better working environment and becoming a more productive work force. Attendees will learn how to adapt to difficult situations using tools and knowledge learned from the resiliency trainers.
• Professional Development Workshops– An in depth training with the tools and resources that will help Family Readiness Groups. It will offer advanced training on topics such as: Auto Call, how to improve your FRG newsletter, how to navigate JSS, marketing your FRG events and fundraising.
