Re-Opening of the
Building Update From YABTC Board
To Keep Everyone Safe:
All People who are entering the facility are required to wear a mask or a face covering at this time. If you are running a dog you may take off your mask but when leaving the course you must cover back up.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms you should not enter the building until 3 days have passed without symptoms. These symptoms include: fever, dry cough, and difficulty catching your breath, chills, shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache or sore throat.
If you are a contact of a COVID-19 patient you may not enter the building until your quarantine has been completed and you have been released by the Health Department.
Social distancing requirements must be followed at all times.
Frequently and before leaving the building all high touch surfaces such as door handles and bathrooms will need to be wiped down with sanitizer.
The office is used only for registration purposes, no other use until further notice.
You must bring your own chairs to use, no use of club chairs at this time
When bringing in multiple dogs, bring them in one at a time. No Crates will be allowed to be left overnight in the building.
Weather permitting you may hold your class outside. Instructor’s choice.
May 11th, 2020 - Agility Instructors can come and set a course. Starting on May 14th, Agility classes can resume. Make sure to keep proper distance and no crates may be left when you leave.
May 18th, 2020 - Paid obedience classes only will resume. All advanced non-paid classes will have to wait until June. No Conformation, Obedience or Rally Run-thrus will happen until further notice. No children under the age of 12 is permitted at this time. Only one other guest may accompany a person enrolled in a class. A Class schedule will be out shortly.

Excellent Jumper Preferred legs under Judge Peter Liu at
the Youngstown All Breed Training Club Agility Trial,
March 14 and 15, 2020. Way to go Baby Bora!
From Yvette Shipman Taz and Tink both earned their AKC Trick Dog
Intermediate titles on March 29. We had fun learning
new tricks including crawl, carry, and leg weaves during
the Covid19 quarantine. Thanks to Laura Bell for
watching all the crazy videos and evaluating them.

Spike graduated from beginner obedience on Feb 25 then
turned around and used
his obedience skills to

jump, get on, find it,
fetch and balance beam!

with Weaves at the
YABTC March trial.
She earned both a first

after the trial so I hope
she feels like running

AWARDS FORM DEADLINE HAS PASSED The March 31, 2020 deadline for submitting Award
Forms for new titles earned in 2019 has passed.
If you did not already submit your Award Forms, hold
them until next year. No additional forms are being
accepted so that the plaques, plates and wall pictures can
be prepared.

following a brief illness.

June Agility Trial UPDATE
Our next agility trial is planned for the Wellness Center on June 19, 20 and 21.
This is dependent on when the governor opens gyms and how many people can
gather. We are collecting ideas on social distancing from other clubs. Please email me
with any ideas that you have. The Wellness Center has been disinfected and is ready to go
whenever they get the notification. We plan on setting up for the trial on Thursday, June
18 at 3 P.M. Your help will be greatly appreciated if you are available.
We have several very nice raffle baskets and a new cage left from the March trial
which we did not use due to the low entries. You all did such an awesome job on them. If
any class did not get a chance to contribute a theme basket for March and would like to
for June, please let me know.
If you plan on entering the trial, please do so sooner than later as if we don’t get
enough entries to make a profit, we will have to cancel the trial. You will not lose any
money as we will shred your checks.
