Nutrition is one of the seven signs of life. If we do not eat then we cannot live. To eat most food types we need to cook, even if we do not cook ourselves someone cooks for us. There-
fore cooking is essential to life.
Sharing space in the kitchen can be a strenuous and frustrating activity. Free space on worktop surfaces are hard to come by and when found it becomes more of a game of elbows with the person next to you. Once you are ready to cook there is still the problem of finding space inside ovens, microwaves and on hobs. The lack of space can be contributed to that we, as people, have set times for meals and therefore the majority of us will all be cooking
at the same time.
After the problem of space, while cooking, we rarely stand still. Movement from the oven to the chopping board to carry on preparing food, movement from the hobs to the sink to drain water and movement up and down the room impatiently waiting for our food to cook is the norm. This can be off-putting and bothersome for others. To have a product that can
solve but one of these problems would be a benefit for everyone sharing a kitchen.
Using this as a starting point I designed a product that addresses the problem and helps to solve it.
A kitchen cookery set designed to minimise time and hassle when cooking. This precisely crafted product carries the functionality of two everyday kitchen items whilst still retain-ing its elegance and poise. The beautifully unique Culinary Blend Set provides a Stainless Steel saucepan along with an attachable Stainless Steel colander. Together they aide the user
make light work of draining water.
This product is available from all high-street retailers and can come in a variety of sizes with a range of colanders suitable for different foods.
