ROTARY INTERNATIONAL THEME IN 2009-2010

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

“Every Reader A Leader” program is the highlight for the week . The program, held in August 4 at the Manila Peninsula Hotel, is related to adopting a school, either computer or non-computer based, to raise the literacy level of public school children.

The program is spearheaded by Governor Sid Garcia’s club, Rotary Club of Makati. In support, our club, RCM San Lorenzo, adopted a school in Sibol, Taguig. There were 10 of our members who attended the launch program.

The rest of the week was focused on the preparation of our 17th Induction. Most of the rehearsals were held at the San Lorenzo Village.

The last practice was held on the eve of the induction at the Philippine Army Officers Club at Villamor.

Lord, we praise you and thank you for your gift of love. Thank you for the gifts of family, friends and love ones, especially friends in Rotary. We lift up to you our Club intentions, plans, and ambitions. Help our members attain our goals and visions this Rotary year. Help all of us continue to be your instruments of peace, love and harmony. Amen.
