Last March 3, 2012, 13 Rotaractors and 14 Interactors hied off to the retreat house oIPP DodgieOsabel in Barangay Calawis in Antipolo City for a team-building activifacilitated by Honorary Member Engr Joe del Rosario and his spouse Dr Naty. Thewere accompanied by Pres Ped Condeno, IPP Dodgie, PE Marcia Salvador, ChaJR Delgra of the Service for New Generation, and Chair Ric Salvador of Administra

tion.

The retreat house was a very conducive venue for the activity, given its natural seting. Barangay Calawis sits at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range, and one of the remote barangays in Antipolo City. The Rotaractors and Interactors rceived from Rtn Joe valuable insights on leadership and teamwork. Rtn Joe also egaged them in fun and challenging team-building games and exercises to reinforcconcepts learned.

Our heartfelt thanks to Engr Joe and spouse Dr Natydel Rosario for sharing their timand resources for the benefit of our youth partners-in-service.

On March 4, 2012, seventy (70) donors consisting of Rotaractors andgraduates of the QC Alternative Learning Institute (QCALI) donated31,500 cc of blood with the assistance of the medical technologistteam of National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI). The donatedblood will be deposited with NKTI of which 10% (3,150 cc) may bewithdrawn by RCHS for its designated beneficiaries. Organized by the

Rotaract Club of Holy Spirit and QCALI in cooperation with NKTBotocan Barangay Council, this was held in Area 6, Barangay Boof District 4, QC. SNG Chair JR Delgra coordinated this first bletting project of the Rotaractors. Food for the blood donors wasvided by RCHS.

The Object of RotaryFirst formulated in 1910, the Object of Rotary is to encourage and
